I'm not trying to complain if thats what you think but what is wrong with them, why do they diserve a 4, 3, 2, and 1. Am I missing something here?

Those two are the only ones worthy of attention on the last 5 or more pages.

The background is very well-made, I think. It doesen't stand out too much, and gives the signature a "been in a lot of battles" theme.

8/10 overall.

Those signature were horrible 7-7, sorry -- nothing really appealed to me.
Eskimo Bob that signature was like 4/10 -- had a cool look to it but the quote was stupid.
Jammed, your signature isn't for rating i don't think but it's pretty cool .

For the most part you do a horrible job of picking text styles and your sigs all are the same with no real change on the style

Well, I like that style so why would I change it if that is the style I like, I like plain sigs with some cool backgrounds.

I just dont see how this gets a better rating then all of mine.

Yes, I realize that different is better, making something original is what everyone strides for but to me that looks horrible and Its messy. idk just not my type of sig.

I rated on effort tho you could have just changed a tiny bit on each background put a differnt color on it and threw on a render and text

Have you ever concidered trying tutorials from www.chaosgfx.com if you dont use Photoshop it doesnt really matter most stuff can be done in gimp that are in photoshop just in a differnt way

In my current sig I changed the color of the background and sharpened it up. Without doing that it was purple and was blurry. But no one sees that stuff because when you do things people just rate it on looks. But fror stuff like that it goes un noticed. I sharpen almost all my backgrounds. It makes them look better.

The whole point of making a sig is to make it look good so it gets rated good since people dont know what you did to make the background they just can rate it on looks

So your saying mine look bad. Well which is it before you said that mine were boring because it doesnt take much to make them look like that. Do you rate on looks or now they're made. Because you told me two different things.

Also you have it all wrong, I make them because I like too. And I was bored in school today, even look at what my post reads. I bring them here to get rated after im done. I dont even put all of the ones I make up here, just the ones I think are worthy of it. I make a buch a day for my friends and stuff.

Yes they are boring and boring = bad in my book so try to spice up your sigs and they will look alot better. I said I rated on effort not how its made if you just put a background and slap on a render I dont really concider that effort but if you put a bunch of effects that are actually noticable on it than it seems like you put more effort into it



I didnt mean it like you gotta make a sig always look good but if you were making a sig and you just half assed it you could have just saved your time because it probably isnt gonna get a good rating. You gotta try your hardest to get a good rating out of most people

It isnt a bad thing that you just make sigs for fun and if your friends are the people your making them for and they like them than who gives a freak what everybody else thinks but still put it up for a rating if you want just to see.

Im still suggesting to look at tutorials and learn more styles looking at the same thing gets boring after a while

Ya, I have looked at them but most are for photoshop which I am too lazy to use it, I use GIMP, I have for a long time and I would like to stick to it. I know GIMP.org has some tuts but they arent good.

Most of the tutorials you can do on gimp in some way or another

7-7, those signatures are crap. Accept it. 5 signatures you made while bored probably during one period aren't going to impress anyone. If you're trying to say 'but i use gimpz ' to explain yourself, fine, but our ratings won't change. The signatures are crap, I'd give them 1-2/10 each (what's with the horrible sweating basketball players..). It's not our fault you don't have photoshop or don't want to use it. We got it, and guess what, it wasn't expensive. We use it, because we're not lazy (well, I am, but I don't get offended when my sucky signatures are told off as crap). Your style of making signatures is overall not-that-good at best. Did you ever try making a renderless? Actually working on a background to make it unique and good looking?

If it doesn't look good, it will be rated accordingly, and why you made them or how you made them doesn't matter.

All of them are bad. They seem like you rushed them and none of the colors, renders, text match anything. Mass production = Bad quality. Quantity over Quality.
