I got Firefox and there are no MAJOR diferences except that FireFox sticks with what the site wants and Safari goes safer(hard 2 explain) and goes Mac... BUT- IE is the WORST on this site.... im not sure about others, but in my IE, those bars on the top (Forums,Community,Mapping,etc.) are in the middle of the page... lol!

When i used Safari it told me i had 'Mozilla...' Its just that it cant identify ur browser and its guessing.

My safari doesn't render alot of the custom buttons here and it also freezes on loading the pages sometimes. Also you can't tweak it to go faster

Sorry it's I don't like that you keep trying to find ways to make less scrolling (which I don't need). I'm sorry I didn't make it a point to suck up and say omg it's uber whatever you do, but I like the one forum per row. I do, however, like the posting screen, not counting the ugly buttons (they seems rather cartoonish) and a lot of the transparency.
I suppose I was a little rude on the post.

Aye... IE for mac has even more css compliancy problems...
I don't have a mac, so, I really can't test it IE on it (not that I care too

One problem though is the header image isn't showing, which messes up the div positioning...
I'm going to make it so the divs are contained inside a specific area, rather than absolute positioning. That's exactly the one improvement I can make with the menu system.

I don't mind scrolling with my mouse. But when I'm on a mouse with NO SCROLLER it's fcking annoying

The forum listing will most likely be one per row, just with a little less data (no Forum Led By: and etc)... If yoshi can make 2 per row look sexy and not be annoying / confusing, I'll stick by him, but otherwise...
I did take a chuck out of the scrolling in the orginal forum listing skin and made it even sexier, so, have faith little ones (remember that big chuck of space dedicated to a graphical activity bar? ). Everything will be as super sexy as the new navigation header / picture / menus...
If you think the forum listing looks bad, you should have seen yoshi trying to put the avatar and Karma: / Minerals: / etc on the right side of the page. Yeah, we argued about that one. So don't you worry!
And... I said something about the forum buttons looking a little cheesy as well dtbk, so don't worry about that either, oh great supporter of sen.
Oh... with the sig thingy... that's another change: Current max on 5.0 is 150px by 500px, it could change, mostly likely not. Avatars have been switched back to 125x125px...
Overall, all current configuartions / setups will be lost, including, uploaded user files like sig pictures, avatars, attachments, etc. This will, for the most part, be a clean out attempt to get rid of old crap that is no longer used. I'm sure, for example, there's an upload avatar from wolf or other banned members in the directories. It is a priority to make sure such redundant data is earse in future actions such as deleting a member (right yoshah?). I don't really want to have all attachments earsed so that threads like the picture thread would still be intact, but I doubt there's any other way short of an extra week of work, converting everything. We will give you more than enough notice that you should save any desired data to your harddrive.
Additional: Oh... and check out this conceptual header:
I failed to get it to work properly with css, but if ya'll think it's extremely hot having the menu system is less boxxed type format, I'll try a little harder.
And what about the world? Shall I keep it in there or kill it? Let me know you're opinions.

We may develop a system to automatically delete attachments if the attachment hasn't been downloaded, avatar, signature, and so on for 60 days and the member who owns the stuff hasn't been active for the same amount of time either.

Oh the menu buttons, super cool, hope they continue to look that cool at other resolutions.
I vote keep the world. Maybe you can push it a little more to the right or something. I like how the terrain went behind the world all transparent like. All you have other wise is terrain. (nice how your getting rid of the black gap.)

hey i got an idea for v5 how bout when you login it has a category called Friends List just like in sc and it keeps a list of your friends to help u remember. i need this alot of times

It's strange how it won't let you open it? Hmmm... Does it do that on all the pictures?
There will be a friends list, your friends will be viewable to all in the profile section (forgot to add that to the profile conceptual). It'll be like a friend circle thing. Both have to agree to become "friends" (opt-in) for it to appear.
