I dont think it looks like a baseball bat u know... its just the matrix looking effect when it attacks.. and i dont know how u could use that effect..

you mean the brush? you put terrain in it so you dont have to go tile by tile everytime
i got an idea for a composite.......if any of u remember the c4 explosion in the S.W.A.T. maps it was done by creating a siege tank(siege mode looks best) with 2 dark archons very close to it on the sides......like this

make a burning protoss building and put 50 observers around it then tell the observers to move to a 2x2 location ovr the pylon and the player that can only see the observers as a blur, itll look cool, and also an awesome idea, make the burning effect with bunkers and instead of a tree use a vespene geyser for a "volcano" effect
High Templar Death - Unit Teleporting, moving fast
Nuke Death- Cool Explosive Attk Then Smoke
Obs just junkyard doging over water to give effect that water is moving/waves
Heres one. Try recall and stasis together to symbolize it being cold or a blizzard and make scarabs cause they can be snow or something.
High Templar Cloaked/Moving- Glow without the high templar, looks like a ghost, phantom, somthing non-physical, could be good for a movie where a character gets killed and posses his/her killer...hey thats a good idea!
Nice ideas guys, I was thinking like maybe teleportation effects, you can make it look really good with just a simple teleportation wav file and whatever form of teleportation effect you like (hallucinations, templar death, whatever).
i still think mine is better

Perhaps use dark templars. They look pretty much like water so they go along with it well.

have u tryed minimal lighting with a unit which can only see um well lets just say you can hardly see even the unit but you can move him around whiles its almost biznatch black and im not about turn of shared vision i mean going into parts that you seen before with as little vision as possible as it comes it can give a really good scary feel to it as we all know there are tons of things we can do to maps these days.

hey tux btw on that map Trigger Happy Defence how do you make it soo the swarm trigger dont get messed up cause all should know that swarm is player 12 and yet you can fire it over and over again.. without worrying about trigger blocks.
soo if ya could tell me how that works that will be very helpfull.

btw that person who said can you cloak protoss building = yes you can but you cant cloak a pylon without using either starforge or scmdraft...
Oh and nexus aswell but the buildings that require pylons can be cloaked..

Disable Enable then make a pylon sum where to insure that the building can work.
gateway for example if it is cloaked the units will not cloak them selves.

I just prevent people from getting close enough to confuse their dark swarms. It was a really crude way of handling it.
