ensure that they are not hidden by another player's units.

I would just like to report that the first hacks for 1.13 were released last night.

If you have a marine surrounded really closly by marines of...say... a blue player, then the minimap will have your color on that spot (since units close together overlap on the minimap since the minimap is scaled down. In the old versions, you would see blue in that spot, and so you wouldn't know that you had a unit there.

Addition:

Some distrubing information has just turned up on the site in which the morph hack was hosted. Hopefully he's just trying to keep the hacking community calm since they can no longer hack. If he's telling the truth, he either doesn't know what he's talking about or we have some trouble on our hands.

Well since this is about patch 1.13, I guess I'll give some information about it that no one probably even cares about. When you save replays and watch them in 1.13, the person who CREATED the game (not the one that necessarily saved the replay) will appear neon green in the minimap during replay view. smile.gif

I don't think they "fixed" the morph hack, but rather, changed the memory addresses so that it no longer worked.

And a new penguin plug better be released soon. Or else.

They fixed it. If you try to run a program made by memgraft, It doesn't load starcraft, It gives you a screen that sais it crashed.

We're sure that they fixed it temporary because each time that they recompile SC memgraft stops working until DW makes a new version.
What we are talking about is if when DW (if he does) makes a new version it'll work over bnet or not.

They DID prevent a lot of hacks from ever being possible again.


Anyway, public hacks have already been released, though not dangerous yet.

Curse you DK... Now in order to give a bot ops in a OP channel i need to log on Starcraft with the OP [NAME], and give my bot thats on The Frozen Throne Ops, then quit Starcraft and log on my normal profile.

Your bot needs the latest hashes. Copy the files from the Starcraft folder replacing what you have in the bot folder. If that won't work, then the bot must be updated.

From a certain hacking site (the one I talked to you about where they released the hack publically) some person on the forum said he created a maphack spoof and nocdcrack for the new patch already.

I saved a replay, and i was neon green, I wasn't the creator of the game, so whoever saved it has their unit light green on the minimap with 1.13

Penguinplug is not yet compatible with the new patch 1.13
Blizzard has released the new 1.13 patch. The good thing about it is that it normaly fix all crash-hacks and "morphing probes to muta" cheats. I thanx blizzard a lot for carring and listening to their users even after all those years.

I will work on an update of penguinplug to make the replay with text and the auto-replay saver compatible with 1.13, but it can takes some time, i will spend my weekend on it (except if more connection problem occurs) but i dont know yet if it will be enough, and needless to say, it will also need some time to test.

Please dont complain to Blizzard that penguinplug is not working, penguinplug is NOT supported by blizzard. I will not reply and i suggest you to be patient, i will be ready when it's done.

Someone tried to explain it, but I'll elaborate.

Previously, units on the minimap were shown in descending order according to player number. Meaning Player 1's units would appear highest on the minimap (and thus why Player 1 is used to block units from minimap hacks in certain UMS). If a higher player than you had a cluster of units above a certain unit of yours, it wouldn't be visible on the minimap. This is now changed to make your units always have preferential treatment minimap-wise.
