And...
All that means is that we can decide things for ourselves and have the power to love and forgive.
God didn't create evil. Humans did. He gave us free will, so he created a CHANCE for evil to exist.

Here is where the religious side has a major hole. It's rather quite obvious. Your God, has no motive what so ever. What does he gain by doing all these things? Giving us free will and all that good stuff? Nothing.
And more importantly, you don't need God to have free will. If there isn't a God,
there still will be free will.
God didn't GIVE us free will. He let us KEEP it. Maybe he doesn't have the ability to take it away in the first place. Only way he'll be able to take it all away, is if he knows everything that will happen in the future. He would have to know that my grand son will die at the age of 20 in the year 2050, and would go to hell for enternal suffering just for being an atheist. It's not that we will be judged, it's that we've ALREADY been judged. How can you condemn a person before they're even born? What kind of monster would do such a thing? Hopefully not God.
