Update:

- Finished Ship, Boat In and Boat Out and fully tested so they're 100% working.
- Will place the units and locations in the upcoming week.

By the way guys, the Beach landing is unbelievable! You guys are going to go crazy when you see it. Ask TheDaddy0420, I showed him. tongue.gif

Update:

- Chapters 2, 3 terrains are 100% done. Since Chapter 4, 5 will not be made, I'm completely done my part of the terrain for the map.
- Map will progress faster now, because I have all the terrain set-up, it just needs triggers and locations which should be farely easy.
- Mine Detector has been cut from the map, because it was a gay idea.
- I finished touch-ups on the beach landing part.
- Will start updating the map daily now, so watch for updates!
- Main page has been updated and map is now 60% done!
- All units have been placed for Chapter 2 and 3.
- All units have been named.
- All final ideas have been gathered.
- Beach ambience has been added.
- Side Objectives have been made clear and are ready to be triggered.

Update:

Good News:

- Map is now 75% done.
- All locations are set for Chapters 2 and 3.
- Front page updated.
- Estimated release for the map is this weekend or next weekend, fully BETA tested.

Bad News:

- Had to cut 3 Deleted Scenes from the Deleted Scenes section, so it's now called Deleted Scene.
- Had to cut 1 Demo from the Game Demos section, so it's now called Custom Battlefields Demo.
- Had to cut 1 Trailer from the Game Trailers section, so it's now called Stalingrad Trailer.
- Only 13-15 locations left to use, might have to half-ass the Trailer and Demo or limit their lengths.
- Won't post up screenshots, because the map is finishing up extremely quickly.
- Had to limit Mortar Explosions on the beach from 10 to 3.
- Don't have enough locations to put anymore cinematics in, so cinematics stop at Chapter 2 landing.
- Minor cinematics will still occur, but will not be as cool as the true ones I could do.
- I have an essay due tommorow, so I probably won't work on the map until Thursday.

Try making use of other locations with 'Move Location' to see if you can free up some locations and then you can add more stuff!

Nah, it can't be done in 1 location, because so many problems would arise that it would be a total waste. 3 big mortar locations are good enough for me cool1.gif

Burrowed Invurable units. Center the location on example unit for example player 7, do the explosion, change the example unit to a example player 8, preserve.

example player 7 brings no example unit to anywhere, change all example unit to player 7 from example player 8.

First off, you have vision with player 7, so that wouldn't look good. Second off, that's a waste of time, because it's not like people are going to waste all their time checking out mortar explosions on a beach. I think my Machine Gun system is good enough effects for the landing.

I'm really busy and tired today and tommorow, so this map will be back in production from friday to sunday. Goal this week is to finish off 75% of Chapter 2.
By the way guys, I also might have to cut the Shell Shock system from the game, but keep it in the boot camp. Stupid StarCraft limitations! ranting.gif

Yeah star crafy limitation suck. Also what can we expect when we hit the beach? Hopeful a lot of accurate machine gun fire and death. The beach scene looks to be intense. You could TRY and make it so your health slowly reduces if you are out in the open, in which you have to get behind doodads as cover. I dunno I think you are maxed out right now. Well yeah.... good luck.

Stop keeping your viewers in the dark, surprise them like I did with my Resident Evil Mod. You will be surprised how much PM's and email's I have recived with that little word "Mod" wink.gif

If you're going to take out shell shock from the game, take it out from the game completely to conserve on locations and triggers and whatnot. No sense on putting it in a little bit because it will just tantalize people with special effects they don't get to use.

Give burrowed units to a enemy pc, make sure its a hero unit that way it will not unburrow if your near it. As marine said owned by Player X, give to player X when resets give back to player whom first owned it. I guess way shut if off is if enemy owns 0 motars cut off enemy fire or something like that all depending on how you would want set it up, best thing use is a hero defiler, even so his units are being raped alive he will not unburrow.

I should have part in the tutorials modderation due to my huge creativity with triggers O.o

I can fix bugs in just about any map :D (So far im 3 for 3 O.O)

Maybe you should create a second map if you have to cut down on some of the chapters... It would suck ass to do it but rewarding in the end (only if the game is fun) biggrin.gif .
