I would like to beta test as well Tux.
I remember I saw a very very early version of this
.
thanks tux, i have downloaded the map and started testing it, but i will be testing in parts from time to time with breaks.
so far the map is looking great and is pretty fun so far(wouldn't expect anything less), though it is a little laggy, but i guess its just me...its not much of a problem though.
anyway, so far the triggers, firing system, the unit drop options, the tutorials, and terrain are working in perfect order so far. do you think its ok to leave some of the unit names blank? its nothing though.
when i do more testing, i will let you know more on the updates. i am up to the point where it recalls the goons and zealots. it seemed to do that infinitly when i go near it.
Do the passwords store armor upgrades / weapon upgrades which you buy? Boss III is annoying as hell man the ticker = wide explosion and hurts -_- i got him 85% and i was like using fully upgraded magnum O.o didnt hurt him much i guess i have to weaken him on run eh? Anywoot wondering if upgrades / weapon limits are stored with passwords..

No they're not. Though you get some weapons and upgrades and gas for each password in accordance to how much you would probably have at the at point anyway. Of course you lose your customized settings if you do a password load (won't matter much by the end though as you'll have everything by then anyway).
Well hmm, i wasted time sitting a lurker spawn killing units get gas O.o that matter much? i had like 12 armor, Full upgraded magnum before i goto 3rd boss..

Looking incredible so far...
The only thing that I noticed was when I died in Survival Mode, 2 Zealots spawned immediately after my death. Those two Zealots were doomed to wander around the Training Area for eternity. (They were still wandering around when I was choosing a new game mode.)
Ok thanks for telling me. I'll look into that.
Early on when I used my weapon directly next to the enemies, I could hit them without any ammo, I'm not sure if that was intentional or not though.
Also, on the third boss, if you die directly before it stops moving, you just won't respawn.
Oh, and you can reload without burrowing by building more units with the gateway since it sets it to it's max ammo when you do that.
After few trys and getting use to gameplay i finally owned whole map to point where Tuxedo stop at final battle in plains. I'll have say its a challage to beat it, takes a lot of work, unit control and 'w' hyper pressing ability. Weapons made it very fun, music made it kickass, boss fights are hard hell i had few troubles here and there. I wont ruin for any of ya ^_^ just that iR first of testers to make it to plains, MOOGLE IS KING! lol kidding. Anywoot now gotta wait for next area.. sigh...

No that's intentional. It's a melee attack after all.

Third boss? You mean at the highway?
Well that's not good. Do you mean when it reaches the end or does it stop somewhere along the way and prevent you from respawning?

Yeah I know. I might leave that in as a reward to those who catch on to that as a quicker way to reload. It'd be a pain to make ammo setting triggers to prevent that, anyway.
Here i do this on my rpgs when i want Custom to be for every thing on the leader bored...
I just have death triggers and when you subtracted the minerals it ads the same amount of death triggers and then you subtracted them to add the mins back after your done... Just an idea!
Not very serious, but it could be. Either before or after I got the level complete for the Plains level, I destroyed the closest infestation. Mana went to 0, so I couldn't attack
zerglings. They chased me all the way to the turret, attacked it during turret
tutorial, and brought it down to about 25 percent health. Ouch ><
The Turret Boss (Ultra) is incomplete, right? I can't tell if it goes any furthur (can't seem to kill him. Farthest I've made him spawn was 7)

Wow gj getting that far lol. No you
can beat him but I plan to halve the number of hits he takes lol. Clearly the balance is off for a lot of parts as you guys might have noticed (which is what you're for lol).
Anyway I'll fix that after-plains glitch. Thanks for bringing it up.
Yah i havn't got really far but it seems like it skips alot when... u get to that forest its way harder then before... The Dts are a pain the the ass!! lol i will beat it 2day when i get home tho.. I didn't play much yesterday
Ok, I'm about to test and email any bugs to you as soon as I finish my homework.
I downloaded the file when i woke up... and now im at school and like 32902483 people are playing it and from tux's words i take it im really far behind Lol...
Well you have until the end of this week. You should complete it (or at least come close) at least once by then, as I'll be continuing work by then on the map. Then you can report to me either by email or in this thread whatever things you find.
I know its probly a lil late for this but what would be really cool is you get like kill points and when u get a certain amount you can do some wierd weapon skill and like blow every thing up.. each weapon would have 1... i think that would be kinda awesome just an idea ^_^
Well I'll keep that idea in mind if I have any room to implement it. Not sure exactly how I'd go about performing secondary attacks, though (you can drop grenades by purchasing though, which is already kinda a secondary attack).
Yah.. i know... it would be hard... your a lil 2 far in the game lol!
2 new things came up (I'm restarting to try to get as many gas as possible for healing at turret boss ^_^)
1) Not sure if this is intentional. Anyways, during the Boss 1's death animation (when it flies north with exploding wraiths(or some terran air unit)) the timer continues to go down until the Boss reaches destination.
2) I found it easier to just re-equip the same weapon for reloading ammo instead of burrowing . I don't know if this is how you intended gameplay to be since burrowing has the drawback of slowing you down.
u removed me from the tester list?
whatevers... i guess ppl hate new members....
Yah we do... Lol!! Don't whine its not like its almost out any ways
Im almost done testing it I just have a few things to test and ive been trying to break it for a little bit and havent been able too much Gj on this its an awsome game I can't seem to get past this highway boss. But I've got a nice list of things for you to fix. One of them could be a serious problem if it reoccurs often.
Uh oh, I found a VERY big one, I'll email these to you.
