My first post in this thread heres some art i scanned on my scanner its from my super hero assignment and is unfinished I'll finish it tonight.

It's been a while since I drew anything. I woke up from a wierd dream earlier this morning around 4AM Pacific, and picked up a pen and paper and drew for no apparent reason.

Half-asleep I finish and find something rather interesting.

I drew this using zero guides and zero pencil lines. Straight, pen on paper. v_v

Bangs could have been drawn nicer, pen... can't fix. T_T.

Just a bit more practice until I can start a manga. Gotta get them line strategy down... Yeah.

EDIT: Spelling and grammar mistakes (probably more).

There's a few minor proportioning errors but other than that it's really nice.

Does anyone else notice that whenever an American attempts to draw "anime" it almost always looks like an imitation, rather than actual "anime"? Red2Blue's looks pretty authentically anime, even though the top of the head looks kinda squished.

Yeah, Americanized anime is really leaves a lot to be desired. All of the japanese "tradition" was sucked right out of it. I donno if they intentionally do it or if it just comes that way...

And, if I didn't draw that wierd headband thingy in her head, it would have passed as proportional. Or something like that.

Im sorry, but I think you could do a lot better than that. Thats not even square. I think you could at least make the lines straight. 2/10 for creativity.
