I think the main reason heros are cheap is of arbs. The whole game is harrass, when your weak recall. If you don't have recall, heros usefulness drastically drop. Look at seige of gondor(except for fellowship and elves), people rarely use heros to harrass and run. Sadly this lasts for the entire game, taking out the mass army aspect of the game. Now if you make the heros weaker but still enough to do a significant amount of damage to things, then adding them into your army can benefit you.

Exactly, it's really the arbs that mess things up. Without them you can't just use a few heros to kill defenses anymore. You actually have to attack.

Well then, they must have been very ill trolls...Still Heroes have always been tough, but thats different from strong!
I think a limit to your ability to Recall would be more interesting, like they are stuck to each of your main bases, and you can use them in Mana 50 costs, and only recall to your main base, and if thats lost, the Arbiter goes!

Actually, you were thinking of LotR there Coko. I'm talking of the Silmarillion. Hurin actually did kill 70 trolls. And they were kick-ass, with harsher weapons than third-age era peoples. So Coko, as I am God, can you people let up?

A likely reason for the constant crashes is that it gets corrupted while being downloaded, or on the FTP. Place it on the Download section of the site and create a link for people to download it, and tell them it is beta-only!
(Gives me a thought for mentioning to Yoshi about having such a Download section, if he doesn't already have it, i rarely visit it!)

Alright, the version I sent out was corrupted. *Sorry everyone!* But I fixed this problem, and the limited Beta tests went swell without a hitch. It has nothing to do with the map, just the file.

Criticizm, suggestions whatever... They are merely comments. They can be REJECTED as well being accepted. If the map doesn't go the way YOU want it, too bad, it is his map. If you offer advice, he can take it or throw it away. Just because he doesn't use it doesn't mean the map will go horribly wrong. Just look at its strengths.

I half understand this, but i wanna mentioned First Age heroes were much more powerful than the people of the Third Age, and I mean cmon the whole Fellowship was needed to kill one troll at the Chamber of Mazarbul(?) (Balin's Tomb).

Hurin, i know he killed a lot of Orc-Troll Guards, not really that hard, they were foolish and weak creatures till Sauron did his work on them during the early 3rd Age!

Correction, Sauron caused changes to them, so that they became better thinkers/fighters in the later ages, it is written in Unfinished Tales, or so i believe.

Actually, the downloads database completely blows now, and it will until Yoshi smooths it out. I can't find any of my recent uploaded files. You're not blind, it's the website! I kind of miss the old site... I don't see what's so great about this one!

I would find some way to continue working on Starcraft, SC-2 seems a long way off, if ever and i doubt if it ever comes out it will be in any way similar to the current one. The world has moved so much in these years since SC release, that things are too different! Anyhow Starcraft is PERFECT!
