u dont need to know everything u learn in school to live life
for ex, nobody will walk up to u and give u a job for finding an adjective in a sentence or identifying the noun

You know, i talked with my parents and back in their days of school in Taiwan, it was boring and terrible. Everyday they'd sit in their classrooms for about 10 hours 7 days a week. They wouldn't change classrooms, they dont even change seats. Their teachers are the ones that move about and so when it's time for a class to be tought lets say science, then a science teacher will come into the classroom and begin lechuring. They'd take notes and notes and notes... scribble scribble scribble, nothing else.
Our schools in america aren't anything like those "prisons" in Taiwan. At least the teachers sometimes make us students do some interesting stuff or more importantly, get up and walk around!. If you think about it, we are so fortunate to have such great schools. That's y many foreigners would do anything just to get their kids an education here. And it's sad how many of us americans complain about how school sux. Heh, wait till they go to school in Taiwan; they can't even survive one second.
And also, schools in taiwan. If you are bad and need to be disciplined, the teachers would pull ur pants down, grab a ruler and swat ur buttcheek about 20-50 times.
