I didn't find this in the rules, unless I glossed over it, but what happens if someone lags off or they have to leave or are disconnected or w/e? Will there be a rematch, or will the peron who left be disqualified or .... Just figured I'd mention this before it became in issue.

You could do it on the Battle.Net way of a disc a certain amount in will be a loss, before is rematch.

Lagging/ leaving will not be a valid submission and the game will not count (you would have to replay it) BUT if your opponent constantly leaves or lags so much you never manage to complete a game, tell me and I will observe a game or two and make a verdict case-by-case. (please tell me about lag prolems BEFORE the very end of pairing times)

Observering will be difficult if the time zone affects you as well, why not have it three disc restarts and all replays are kept and out of those decide.

650 of the 1300 minerals I legally hocked from Kow put here, the rest in this week's raffle.

Why not jsut put all 1400 to the fund while your at it? I doubt 650 will affect your bank as much as this (I know they are interlinked...)

I fixed my PC and now it seems like someone won't have a free win in the first round.

Sakura_RPG pulled out of the tournament at 2:38AM December 31, 2004 and recieved a full refund.

Cheeze(U) was booted from the tournament for not responding to the PM.

First-Round pairings are now up. (well if you're reading this right after it is posted then they will be up in a minute)

EDIT: I changed my mind and validated a random Blizzard 3-player melee map for use. It is attatched.

Whoever wins in the first round is a semi-finalist?
Since we do have only 5 matches and that will create 5 winners.
4 of those will have a match and 1 goes bye.
2 people will fight for the final spot and the other gets a bye.

This is wierd since it's just 10 people. How will the tournament be bracketed like?

The semifinalists will be the loser of the orange game (fine the orange l) and the winner of the losers of the yellow game and the light green game. (they will play a match for 100 mins) Also note the same person won't get two byes.

B. What the fark happened to Lost Temple?
C. Why the hell did you change the map THE DAY IT STARTS?
D. I want my money back. This was bullcrap. You stick me on a rush map where I can't even seal my base up and I lose to a ling rush.
E. This whole crap shouldn't be valid because you CHANGED THE MAP THE DAY OF THE TOURNEY. At least PM us.

Sounds like someones sore they lost. If you are a "good" melee player it shouldn't mate what map you play (outside of money maps). Am I being told MM lost? But I haven't been sent a replay..

B,C,D,E are valid complaints. I, too, would be very angry in the change of maps on the day it starts. But, you probably won't understand, not being a melee player.


Next time, no confirmation , my confirmation is that I sent minerals, therefore, I will be in tournament. Do you see other touranments doing this confirmation stuff? Seriously, be smart!
