I didn't get any message.
I think you don't know how to answer my arguments, thats why you say you will PM me, to make others think you can actually think something up.

It's not that I don't like you, I just don't like people who use such bad tricks in debates, that was the only way I could answer to your post.

quite funny that the other guy has "korean nationalism" written under his nickname..

Im seeing lots of talk about which map is harder to make: Melee or UMS.

Both require very different skills. "Inventive" people would be better at making UMS maps, "Artistic" people would be better at making melee maps.

For me, i find melee maps harder

Army said it perfectly.

UMS is for inventive people.
Melee is for Artistic people.

EDIT: Just incase there are any dumbasses that get the smart idea of mixing them together, and then try to say, "well for X sometimes u need both of them!!" I think we kinda already knew that.

I don't care anymore. You guys can just keep saying mapping terrain is harder than putting together locations, sounds, and sometimes 1000+ triggers. I've been reading the forums a lot, and I can barely recall many people having the balls to admit that they're wrong on something. So, what's the point? ya know? We're not gonna get anywhere with this. I say drop the topic, and let us just focuc on the main topic of this thread.

Remember when I said that I did not think that melee was harder?
Why dont people listen to me?

Hmmm, I would have to disagree.
Melee, in no way, do you have to be artistic. You just need to understand melee to understand melee map making. But yes, lets drop the topic.

To the Koreans here, I have a question:
Do many Koreans know english? Is that one of the bigger languages of Korea? Just like Spanish is in the US.

How hard was it to learn good english? Is English an easier written language than Korean?

Melee has its good things, so does ums. None is harder than the other, a map is harder if you make it better. There are good melee maps and good ums maps. period.

And since I'm sick of that if I find anyone saying that melee is better or ums is better I might warn him. Let's drop the topic as Yenku said and focus on the news post that was the melee mapsite. If you don't like melee this topic is not the right place for you to stay...

Not that much. about 4/5(college graduate) can read english and 2/5 can converse with english. And we always use Hangeul normally. (i've no idea about Spanish and US. sorry)

and 8882, WTF? I just didn't want to spam this post with arguments. I'm not a spammer such like your inveterate quarrel about trifles. How dare you say such a useless segregation? Is anyone want me to spam this post with protests like 8x3+2? So please stop poking me with a 'play of words'.

did sckor flame you? did he abuse you?
did you two have a quarrel or something? well if not, then I have no idea why
sckor should be involved in this... sounds more like...sarcasm against Koreans?
cynical remarks? sardonicism. or rather, a sneer. not very polite.

Well, spanish is the second biggest language in the US. Todays students are required to learn a second language and most pick spanish. Also, there are so many immigrants of Spanish decent the language percentage is growing a lot.

Well, 2/5 people conversing in english? That is a lot more than I expected. I go to a private school from 7th - 12th grade and there are 230 students in the school, about 35 are Korean and 5 japanese. So i have many asian friends from korea who play sc on the east server (good practice).
