Well since this is about patch 1.13, I guess I'll give some information about it that no one probably even cares about. When you save replays and watch them in 1.13, the person who CREATED the game (not the one that necessarily saved the replay) will appear neon green in the minimap during replay view.

You're wrong, actually. The player in the replay whose slot you are in appears neon green on the mini map. It's also the same player whose hot keys you can use.
I think it's a bug, because in the replays it shouldn't make distintion between your units as a replay "player" and other player units, but it does, and shows your units with green.
Well, is this modding stuff OK? I'm talking legal wise, and if Blizzard's OK with it.
If it isn't will someone try to get an OK with Blizz?
Modding might be a lot easier if Blizzard isn't at war with the modding community.
(I would like to underemphasize the word "war" Thank you.)
Maybe the mods could be limited to UMS, but not have to be reset with every dumb patch.
Blizzard doesn't disagree with moding, but he won't help the moding comunity since modding is ilegal.
Blizzard doesn't try to make the modding programs stop working on every patch, is something that happens automatically when they make a new patch, because of the method used to make the moding programs. The other way would be code inside SC the moding stuff, and blizzard won't do that neither give the source to anyone to do it.
I wonder what's so bad about a penguin plug? It's a 3rd party with replays, that only records everybody's messages.

Who said it's bad?

MemGraft has had to be updated every time a new patch came out. It's a classic hassle with new patches.

It's technically a third party program attached to Battle.net. While it means no harm, things like this and SC Chat Logger are technically hacks and violate the Starcraft EULA.Does any body have any idea what the new VerByte of starcraft is?
I can't seem to find it anywhere. When I get this, I will be able to use all my bots again.
It's
STARVerByte=CD
SEXPVerByte=CD
I got it off the Stealthbot.net site in the new hashing instructions.

I hate this feature now... It makes it that much harder to find enemy scouts on the mini map. Anybody know if we can toggle this "feature" on and off? Without the use of a 3rd party program =/
Ya, it's kinda annoying how we don't have to option for stuff like this.
Well, I have a question about the memory.
I have found a site that already has hacks out for 1.13. Wouldn't that mean that they already found the memory location? If so, could we possibly talk to one of the creators about the memory location? Thus, resulting in updated MemGraft... (Just a thought)
a. That's SI's job
b. It's not that hard to find memory locations
c. Dealing with hackers is a bad idea
Is SI the only one with MemGraft's source code? If so, that sucks. He should give it to someone who can and will update MemGraft.
Umm, DW is the one who made memgraft. He gave it to SI to update becuase SI is a much more active programer.
SI does a lot of programing, I think it would be counter productive to give the source code to anyone else.
Shit... That's no fun. Maybe if we spam 50,000 threads in the SCMDraft Forum for SI.

There aren't any players above Player 12: technically, you aren't even supposed to go higher than 8.
Anything that's unused they didn't mean for you to touch in the first place, and Blizzard doesn't want to recode the whole game to support more than 8 controllable players. Especially if it's just going to be included in a patch that doesn't give them more income.
Players and units higher than their respective table limits just corrupt some other part of the memory data that SC has to access, which causes the weird effects you see.
Hmm a "hidden" test version of the new PP is on the PP site:
http://ste.gnux.info/pp/download/test/You have to replace the PenguinPlug.spl from the older version of PP in your SC folder with that one on the site. Not sure what the new version does though because there's no news post about it.

At least it doesn't crash SC so it's compatible.
It records in game chat and attaches it to the replay. It's not particularly usful, unless you have interesting conversation during your games. The BSers at ICL use it to record things like "i h4t u" "UserName has left the game.".
It was also used a lot to prevent crash hacks
