Actually, all the knowledge about how to do all of the modding with EUD is made up by restating information contained in tutorials like this, so when people are answering your questions in mapping assistance about EUD modding, they're teaching you the same stuff that's taught in these tutorials. In fact, every time I answered a question this week I thought to myself "why doesn't everyone just look at modding sites and read up on modding, don't they realise there are tutorials everywhere about what they're doing?"
EUD just allows you to perform a subset of normal modding through a different medium, and since these tutorials are about modding and EUD lets you do StarCraft modding, they are relevant and useful. Not to mention, EUD is only capable of doing a small portion of what modding can do, meaning these tutorials allow you to go beyond the capabilities of EUD triggers. If anything, these tutorials should be more in demand and more valuable now than they were previously because modding has now hit a wider audience.
[progress]0[/progress]Can some 1 tell me 7 things how do i get which are:
1.Were is the Zealots attack command in Ice?
2.How do you get units to jump like the dragoon in DoomDragoon?
3.How do I giv a unit random attacks?
4.When I changed the Dragoons sprite to be an intercepter and the build a dragoon how come starcraft crashes?
5.How do I create my own attacks? (always wanted to know that)
6.How would i downgrade my Starcraft Version to 1.12 instead of wot it is. (v1.13)
7.How do I give a unit difrent attacks for melee and ranged like the Dragoon from Doom Dragoon and the Ghost from Terran doom.
Can you PM the answers to me plz.
Thank you
I think you'd rather post a separate topic for your issues - they don't quite belong in here, to my mind...
Spammers die. Or get really pwned by your favourite admin reading his reported posts.

Specifically, how did it not work?
Clone> Didn't BST answer your questions in the thread you made? Will there be an all-in-one modding program? Making a mod sure needs a lot of work... and a lot of programs...
heh....we're all hoping for a one to finally appear, but the chances for this are quite limited. Not only from the technical point of view, which can be dealt with relatively easily, but rather from the fonctional POV, given the overall complexity of the modmaking process.
OMG ! I have a small problem ^_^;
The step 42 & 43 of the last tutorial, (the one with stargraft), i don't understand what i have to do and where i have to do i T_T!?ยจ
Thanks for helping me !

Step 42:
a)Made sure the sliderbar is on the requirement you just created in step 40a.

Step 43:
a)Made sure the sliderbar is on the requirement you just created in step 40b.
b)The "Unit" option box should be checked.

Hate to burst your bubble, but I already made a smiler tutorial.
Smiler?
WinMPQ wont work for me!! and i wanna mod!, how can i find a way to make change a .dat file to a .mpq file w/o using WinMPQ?
First off, You can't change a .dat file to a .mpq extension.
If you want to get your WinMPQ to work, Just tell what the problem is, Otherwise we can't help much.
mmmkay, when i open it.... the error is:
(screen 1)
Error accessing the system registry
(screen 2)
Unexpected error; quitting
Uhh, I have no idea why it sais that... Did you download it off of SeN? If not, download it from here and it should be fine.
You've done all the registry parts with it as well?
Does your system have extra protection on the registry?
Yeah, apparently that's the very case here.

My WinMPQ doesn't work either... what you can do instead is use BSTRhino's MPQ Compactor. (Available on Starcraft.org).
What you do is create a folder that's the name of the MPQ you want to make.
Then make the paths with folders (Ex... if you want to place something at the path mymod\arr\units.dat), make an "arr" folder in the mymod folder, then place units.dat inside of it.
Then drag the mymod folder on top of the MPQ Compactor .jse file, and it makes it into an MPQ for you. Very helpful.

your regedit.exe is disabled or else you are not administrator of the computer you should try start>>execute>>gpedit.msc
a new window will pop up (my pc is in spanish...) but go to "local machine directive" the first option it gives u then user configuration then the third option then system then there should be a file called "disable access to tools to edit the system registry or something like that....double click and check disable then apply it and close the gpedit.msc that should enable the system registry edition make sure that no other program (not trustable) gets editing the registry and make sure not to erase anything from gpedit or either regedit or u will have to reinstall everything
