It's been 2 years and there isn't even a semi-working alpha. I officially call bullcrap.
Yeah, same. Thanks for a big load of false hope, boys. Every one signed up for the alpha to no avail.
Any one else want to try a Mac editor? I like StarFire (except for the unit sizes of certain characters) and I like Emerald, but we need something better. SF for Mac... that would be nice.
You all have to remember that DW and SI have lives of their own outside of Starcraft. Unless stated expressedly by DW that he is no longer working on the Mac version of SCMDraft, you can assume that if(and I say if very loosely) he finds time to work on it, he will. But complaning isn't the best thing to do.
Again I'll go back to my original point: neither of them have posted anything about any progress. True, they have not said that the project is dead, but they haven't come on to give us a simple "We're still working on it." Its been well over a year (I think) since this project started and for the past few months we've heard nothing from DW.
POST PROGRESS MAN.. RELEASE IT ALREADY..

ADDITION:
Ppl this is really bugging me now
I doubt they'll speed up production simply because its annoying you.
Their arguemnt is valid, life is taking over their motivation. My main concern is that they've given us dealines that they haven't met and they've given us hope for an Alpha version that was never released.
Just assume its dead.

yes well this is realy pissing me off now.... i might as well learn c++ before they even get back to us
Yeah really. If you're gonna complain about it and tell them to hurry up so you can be happy, then do it yourself. I admit, I want it to be released, but I'm just going to wait patiently for them to give us some sort of response as opposed to continually talk about how they need to complete this simply because you're angry.
I need this too!
Please work on it more, and release some type of working program. Also, is this Universal? Cause i'm on an Intel iMac.

If you have an intel mac then get it for windows and boot up on XP.
Is there any new news. If not it looks like starforge or my terrainer will be done soon. As in my first beta in a month or so.

Go do your Mac editor Ian. This hasnt been updated for months, maybe even years. They both have busy lives, so we can R.I.P SCMDraft mac.

Yeah, what most intel Mac users don't understand is that it can run Windows. Therefore a Mac editor is unnecessary for them since they can just use the actual versions.

BUT WELCOME THE NEW MAC STAREDITOR!
More info soon
He's referring to "EverEdit." Its a PC editor that is going to be ported to Mac eventually.
I think he said "more info soon" because he's waiting for info himself.

Hit the nail on the head
I just reread what you said, Peyn. Were you agreeing with him, using the term "ditto" to signify that you, too, want new info?
Or were you referring to QwertyDitto as "Ditto" and asking about what information he knew? My response was under the assumption that it was the latter.
