It wasn't the republicans, it was the people representing the republicans, assuming it was their fault.

God I hate political parties. People, NEVER allign yourself with one. Seriously.

I did, i told him what he had false info on and yes bush is supposed to have been aware of katrina b4 it happened. Either its his fault for being a dumb man and not helping due to it was texans or it was the people who were supposed to inform him. Either way, the republicans were at fault for these serious issues these days.

sorry bush couldn't see the future and pre-emptivly send millions in aid to LA

also: it was the LA state gov't to prepare for a hurricane - the levee board was enormously corrupt (most of the money put into it was used for buing casinos, etc) - thus, the levees broke and we have the craphole in new orleans. because the LA state gov't didn't prepare, not the federal gov't.

That would go for every city? Seattle just incase the 'big one' happens (earthquake) jsut one example.

Its the state's job.

Nobody can blame him for the series of unfortunate events that have occurred during his presidency. He dealed with everything the same way john kerry would have, if not better. There is a reason George bush won the elections, which is the reason the country isn't in even MORE chaos.

LMFAO shorty i am now sad that you always reply like this in most of your posts. Kerry would have done MUCH better as president he has a brain and was in the army. Yes bush could have handled things much better and he was voted in office due to idiots in america who just want republican control and that is completely true. You realize his office approval is now 37%. Whatever thats not an opinion, that pure fact.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by TheDaddy0420 on 2006-01-03 at 01:03:59
And you fail to see that, that poll was a few months old, his approve ratings have risen to (now) 50%.........

If you think Mr. Flip-flop could have done better, you're crazy.

This is George Bush'es second term for a reason, he was the best for the job

Report, edit, etc...Posted by CheeZe on 2006-01-03 at 01:18:24
Chris, correction: It has recently risen to only 47%.

So.. what has Bush done correctly though?

Tell me what has changed that has effectively stopped it. No doubt, you will say the Patriot Act. However, you must prove that it is this Act that is stopping it and not the Terrorists who are simply waiting. "Sleeper cells" as some call them.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by TheDaddy0420 on 2006-01-03 at 01:36:28
Cheeze, the proof is right there in front of you.

Airports, based on the new regulations set by the Bush administration, security is tighter then ever before, but causes alot more slow downs........

Shipping, on imports are now being scanned by hi tech equipment (x-ray weird crap).

Patriot Act, of course the proof is all over the news ermm.gif

Going AFTER the terrorists and not waiting for them to come to us.

I feel so safe now that farking us security is tapping into my email and my phone calls and my mail. Screw that. He is not making a safer american. He is making america the next nazi germany and most people who are not blind by this moronic leader who failed college can see it. Kerry only lost because we must face facts, there are more republicans than democrats. I guess this is why lots of people are leaving the us these days. Lets face facts, if there was an equal amount of democrats and republicans, bush would never be in office. He only got in office in the first place due to the electoral college people were all republicans and didn't want to recount the votes. This is the end for america.

How can you not know they have been doing that. We have all stated that in the past of this post and i'm revising fact. That was sort of flammish if you ask me shorty. Yes they are probably reading these posts right now. It is stated in the constitution that the government can do it but they have neglected it until now.

In the constitution the text is reasonable or not reasonable. The government has reasonable cause to look at you specifically out of thousands of other people

How do you know that they HAVE been doing that? Just because they CAN doesn't mean you have to go state it as a fact that they are indeed doing so. (If it's even the case that they can)

Bush has already admitted to looking without consent. This, with or without cause, is unconstitutional. He claims to be helping with terror. Hey, guess what? This leads back to my question, which one is more important, security or liberty?

Prove to me that this is preventing terrorism. You're stating what's happening. Prove the effects are real.

They aren't even his speeches. He can't write well so he gets his wife to write it for him. Thats how much of a moron he is.

GET IT RIGHT MARINE!!!! Bush's wife does NOT write them for him! His writer does... lol.

Cheeze hit it the head on the nail. Shorty Bush admitted it so theres the proof needed. Its not an outragous claim, its the truth. It is unconstitutional and even Ben Franklin stated something about this.
QUOTE
Those who would trade liberty for security deserve neither liberty nor security.

I would rather live my life free and in threat of an attack then secure and not free.

Funny how they're not going after Bush....

Bush is a blithering illiterate imbecile. That 'talk' he had with the troops on T.V., the one that was practices with those troops earlier in the day. HE didn't write that.... he even messed up while reading it... Those troops were told what to say, even the line about how he met the girl in NY!
