Bob: I wana be a moderator!

Lesson: We don't hire unless we need moderators and we ignore all requests. You will be asked to be a moderator if you're a respectible member of this community if we need one.

Knowing that you've never read the FAQ or follow the rules, I do think that you wouldn't have been a good Mod if not chosen. The lest logical thing that we can do in the hireing of a Moderator, who is here to enfore the rules, is to assing a person who doesn't follow or know the rules.

Its good to study that section you guys before you attempt to fiddle with the moderation.
It took me 30 minutes to learn of all the rules here. It's tough stuff...;;

I had no intention of asking for a position, read my post numbsy.
I want to know why would I not be a good mod.

If you have to ask that question... then you wont make a good mod.

Most of the rules are only common sense.
Also, moderators are usually older (time at SEN, not age) members because those members know the rules and know which way they are enforced.

However, memorizing the FAQ forum does not make you a moderator.

Actually, I've read the FAQ's around two times.
And that's my point, I don't see what makes a good mod around here, you say it doesn't have anything to do with being here for a while, I disagree.

@Red2Blue: I'm asking that question because I'm being told I wouldn't be chosen as a moderator, yet I don't see why not, if time does not matter.

Of course it does. Nobody gets hired their first week here.

There is no "Moderator Checklist" or "Moderator Test". We hire those whom we like when we need moderators. So if you be like our PE class TA and buy the staff lattes every morning, we'll make you staff (not).

This thread has pretty much served out it's purpose.

We don't need more moderators right now, end of story.
