Dammit and I still need half a year to partially finish my first map's RPG. I doubt I can win this contest...

You're not alone there Zodiac. I've been working on the first map of my RPG for around a year and not even close to half way. But of course, I have been on and off in its production.

Well ya still got till 10th of october, if you do enter then you do if u dont then you dont, im not pushing ya to enter. ^_^ just want good rpgs map to judge n show off to public show that people can make nice rpgs blek~ anywoot im off to hell again!

Darn I get limited time on my comp and There a time limit of how much I can go on. When I begin the school year I'll only be allowed four hours a week looks like I'll have to manage time a little bit more.

Is it me, or has this contest been forgotten?

Let's hope I somehow manage to finish my part one rpg in time.

It'll probably pick up activity towards the end of the contest. Then people will be like "omg I'm nowhere near done, can you extend the deadline?????????????" except with three times as many ?'s. Oh well, I still await all the RPGs that are going to come out of this.

Right now, there's not much to say. We're all just waiting for those RPG submissions. Then things are going to get messy.

Nontheless my resolve to finish my map isnt broken, just because we still have a month doesnt mean we have alot of time. Get to work on your maps people!

Almost a month away, how is all going on it so far? Is anyone still working on a map for the contest?

Ugg, I'm one of the '1.14 crash victims'. Starcraft is dead on my computer, and my map is 3/4 done. Do I get a few extra points if I manage to reinstall SC, put in 1.13f and finish my map (in style, as usual) on time? (that was a trick question)

I have quite a bit of college work to catch up on before I have the time to work on my map. AHHHHHH!

Yeah im putting aside thursdays and weekends for my map, should have it in to you by the deadline. I really hope everyone else is still entering, we need to post a reminder on the news board i think.

Almost done... In fact, I'm on the last trigger of the storyline.

Now I have to go back and do all that countdown crap.

And don't forget some testing and debugging before you submit the map. That's pretty important.

Oh darn, I forgot testing and debugging...

I have all that in mind and I'm still on fixing annoying glitches, so I had to cut my map short. Now after I do that I'm going to try and test and check for debugging etc. If I find people to test it.

Hey, can I submit the map, and post it in the DLDB (with a Map Showcase topic, of course)? Or will submitting it to the DLDB take me out of the running?

I'm just making sure, I don't want to get kicked out after all this rushing and work.

Personally, I would recommend that you PM the map to us judges first or something. After the contest is over, then you're free to release the map to the public. This is so that the competition will have no idea of what they're up against, and causes more tension and stuff. Just a sort of psychological aspect of suspense.

oh boy, now I'm already scared, I can even feel the tesion without knowwing what I'm up against.
