Wow, this is thread is dieing; I get an X-Box 360, but need some strategy, so I came back after my little one week leave, and there are only 6 new posts in this topic? hmmm.

I haven't made much progress on my GRP since as I said, I made a short one-week leave from SC. But don't worry, I'll be back!

ADDITION: I'm on a roll! I've done another frame set in under 30 minutes. The technique I mentioned above is working magically! And no, I'm not sharing it.

I believe he's talking about copying the colors in the pallete into the image and then using the color selection tool. I saw Ez do that when he was making GRPs for Killer_Kow's Imperial Glory TC. The attachments are gone, however, so I couldn't grab it.

And yeah, I'm sort of confused about the whole "you're not sharing it" thing...

Do you think I could do a protoss building? I have quite some experience with merging parts together.

anyways, i saw someone still has trouble with using palette and trick with palette

i can't say answer right now and can't write tutorial now
anyways, many of urs are seem to need more get the knack of using palette
and workflow of painting

most guys of here, try in a hard way

and as for GIMP, that could use palette like as Photoshop perpectly
if get knowhow about system of palette and the use of GIMP
then could make figure out by oneself

when i have time i will write a few tutorials about tip of that

read my pinned tutorial at last post which told about the use GIMP

lol, it's quite lame, since I was keeping the original walk animations I just erased the walk animations for the first tank, then pasted it right over the new one, even if I get some tank; as long as I don't change any 'new' parts it's fine. So just paste from, the erase walk animations, then paste. Voila!

On the subject of progress, it's done! And I even tested the walk animations. However, I don't plan on going the full mile and taking away the tank turret, and still leaving the walk animations. The tank turret makes it look miserable. I'm still curious as to how it looks turret-free. My wireless is kinda screwy, and I don't feel like putting it on my thumb-drive right now, so I'll give it to ya' later, maybe tomorrow.

Funny, when you click download to test whether or not it works, it adds one to the number of downloads, regardless of whether or not you cancel, or if you've already done it.

The only way to do the transport justice would be to give it some sort of ram ability. Or maybe allow it to bash through walls!

You should lower the turn speed, too. When viewing it with tank-like properties, the front would swing around at a super fast pace, possibly impaling anyone nearby.

Has the scout .GRP been taken? If not, I'll do it. But it won't be as high quality as everyone elses.

Hmm, my records show I don't have any protoss replacement grp's, nor any terran air replacements. Remember, I put up that big list of zerg buildings too.

Nope, I never got around to it. Well actually the first one I couldn't do.

If you could send me the .BMPs, I could take a shot at it.

EDIT: When I originally looked at it, I saw different 3d. Now that I see what it really was you were going for, I think it wouldn't be easy.

As many people as can...could you get me zerg buildings to match those names? The faster I get them the better.

I can't do zerg buildings, I prefer the mechanics and sharp corners of terran (sometimes protoss) stuff.

lol. too bad terran is about 80% done. How about you mess around with some protoss then? make something and chances are I have a building that would fit.
