Yea Starcraft is sooo much better than WCIII!
Ok well the huge patch part for WC is because of all those modelling things and textures and whatnot.

Out of all the people that complain about Blizzard making a new patch, 99% of them wanted a patch in the first place. Which is extremely stupid.

hey i stil want the new patch, o well if it screws up some maps, we can always redo them to make them compatible or what, i'm still excided about this new patch and i still want this new patch and i am still glad blizzard hasen't forgot about starcraft

for map editing wise i HOPE they add new triggers I.E Units life( tells if it loses life or gains), Mana points. ADD HP/MP(IE:+10 hp per second)

I think it's great that Sc keeps updating with regular patches. It's a little frustrating to continually re-catagorize my replay database for each new exe. tho!
