There's a major flaw in the atheists theory of:

If God is a loving God, then why did Hitler get to power, how do children get the worst diseases, why did so many people die at the World Trade Center?

It's because we are humans, we act independently of God and so does every other organism, matter and everything that exists. God creates, he does not dictate what we do.

The problem is that God let's us live our lifes, as you think that it's the opposite. If it was true what you said, then God would not have let you be an Atheist, you are an Atheist because you chose to be one.

It would be of great achievement to these discussions if the Atheist Community would read more upon God to gather greater knowledge. I'm thinking that most of the people have very little information about God, and therefore make illogically wrong statements.

Exactly. IMO some of them are just purely driven by their bitter hatred for religion (but it's understandable.)

Basically, it's a society of "Logical rationalists", in which they believe that if there's no scientific proof or logic, then it doesn't exist. I was an atheist for a few years and I know about many of their statements trying to prove God false. But most of the time, those theories fall down on one of two things:
  • They do not know enough information to prove the statement, or at least back it up.
  • They say that it can't be proved, but then it backfires because it can't be dissaproved.

I really don't mind having these discussions, I actually find them quite interesting to read about what other people think. The problem is that a whole bunch of people believe for a fact about what they read, and thus, at times, makes them look bad.

i would like to add that more people are pragmatical toady.
belive in God huh ?
what benifits will i get ?
*ok, maybe it was exaggerted, but the idea remains* - being pragmatical is a barrier between some people & God.

allmost all the sociable girls in my class are pragmatical & i they don't seem to belive in God. (allthow i correct myself - "seem" is not 100%)

Most probably because christians constantly come up to them and preach, trying to convert them. This is probably why christianity is one of the more hated religions because they not only try to convert atheists, but they also try to do the same with hindus and buddhists.

ADDITION:
And also, 10% of America is not religious. Most of those 10% are probably people who just don't care. Sure they might think something is out there, but they don't spend any energy in becoming religious. Most nonreligous people I've bumped into fall into that category; only one or two are atheists who really look down on religion and stuff.

Reason why i don't believe in god is that, what if people from the early ages, made up God? To cheer people up, because think about how hard it was to live back in those times and people might of made God up to chear up everyone? Or people made up heaven and hell to make the children behave right then decided it will be the best for everyone to not know the truth think it about? Jesus he probley said all of that just so people will remember him? Theres abunch of people who will do almost anything to get famous. When you saw a statue I bet ya, this came on your mind, "I want people to make a statue of me to remember the things I will do" or something like that.

They didnt do it to "cheer themselves up". Humans are born with the inate want to worship something. Hence more proof of god.

i never noticed that Christians try to convert all the others to Christiannity so much.

i've heard an interesting theory about religions & when do they try to convert people into beliving them.

it says like this: when a religion is "young" (ofcourse, relatively) the most active belivers in certain conditions try to convert other people into their religion. no offence, but Islam is a young religion in this theory. they connect this "maturity" of the religion with crusaders (Christianity was young then) & terrorism (Islam is young now).

The number of the devil is not nessescarily 666; it is six hundred, three score and six. The number of the devil may be 600, 60, and 6 rather that 666. Additionally, saying the date of destruction will be 06/06/06 is incorrect, because the authors of the texts may have been thinking of a different calendar when the number was writter.

Additionally, there is neither solid proof or disproof of God. Hence, belief. Why would God not show himself to anyone? The texts say that God does things for reasons we cannot comprehend, and that is exactly why Creationists cannot say "God did Intelligent design because it's a lot simpler"; because the Creationists are not God, do not know what God did, and do not know why he did what he did.

So, did the immigrants strike for the day because they wanted to show that they are needed by the economy? It didn't get much press coverage here.

I'm not sure whether to support their actions or not. Obviously a lot of Americans in the border states are fed up with Hispanic immigrants and they do seem to have real grievances. However, I suspect that a lot of immigrants are at the age where learning a new language becomes extremely difficult. I think they can be forgiven for their lack of English skills, but not the younger ones who have been in the country for a while.

I would think the Iraqis would be pissed at America, as well. We invaded their country, for one. Then, our soldiers are Abu Ghraib tortured Iraqis. Plus, the operation was originally called Freedom Crusade.

Oh yeah "we're rebuilding iraq". It's not like we HAVE to do that. And there are a bunch of other conflicts we've gotten into that we didn't have to.
