First I am 100% sure some country like USA, China, Mexico, Russia, Germany w/e any country with enough money would clone an army of soldiers.

Cloning animals for food would be useful.

Also I doubt we could clone humans who completly have no 'side effects' such as different hormone levels, and hormones mostly 'make our emotions' strong or weaker.

But using full 100% copies of humans for medical research is wrong..

Maybe some weird clones with practicly no mind but that would also be well wrong..

I myself am against cloning humans.

I strongly believe in God, and it really bothers me, when other people push the idea away. Why can you not just entertain the idea? Honestly, how can you explain the big bang? "some cosmic particles were in a void and smashed together...." --but where did those original particles come from? Who created the beginning? As much as non-believers may say they have no reason to believe in God, I have just as much reason not to believe in the "Big Bang theory". Which brings me to another point. Don't teach me (or anyone else) the Big Bang theory in my school if you're not going to honestly devote an equal amount of time to creationism. It sickens me to hear pure lies regarding the origins of our wondrous universe, particularly in my own school, because I know that it's going on in public schools all over the country! This is why I am going to a private, Christian university in South Carolina this fall. I do not need to be in a secular environment hearing this ~blasphemy~ for another 4 years of my young adult life. Then people look down at me when I respond to their question, "so where are you going to school next year?" by saying, "I'm attending Bob Jones University, it's a smaller, Christian university in South Carolina; and I'm really looking forward to it." They go, "....oh, I see.. are you gonna' join a frat. or party?" Then this is where they bother me, I respond with a polite, "no" and they look at me like I'm out of my mind. "No I don't really feel compelled to drink, do drugs or be promiscuous, I'm attending college to get a more in depth education, and grow in my spiritual walk with Christ." Liberals throughout this country scream, "Tolerance! Respect! We have to be tolerant of the homosexuals and Muslims and everybody! We need to respect everyone’s beliefs and not put people down for it!" These are the people who look down their noses at me for saying that I plan on living a mature, responsible and Christian life; not just through college, but through the rest of my life. I am looked at as less then them because of my Christian belief, and it's not like I force my beliefs on them either. They asked me if I plan on partying at college, and I tell them, no--and why that is. There is something wrong with this picture, and I know that this is how it is going to be, but it is still wrong, and this world is simply going to keep deteriorating and spiraling into more sin and hatred until that day comes.

It is our nature to dislike/not understand something that's different from us. Some people hide it deep and let tolerance take it's place, but some don't. Remember, we were rejected from heaven for sins that nobody or allmost nobody can evade.

The USA is the one who makes the rules in today's world. Why is it so powerful ?

It's relatively remote, far away from european trouble?
The way they do politics ?
Mybe national mentality has something to do with it ?

What do you think ?

Blacker9Winter, as much as I respect your opinion(and mostly agree), I would ask you to please understand everything before you start posting. The theory called "Big Bang", which is a theory about the beginning of the universe is not how you put it. The theory states that all matter in the universe was at one time energy, not small particles. Being energy, it needed an infinitesimally minute amount of area to exist in. However, science can offer no explanation as to where that energy came from, just as it cannot explain how gravity works. Yet I hope you believe in gravitational theory, right?

Personally, I don't mind being taught about religiously conflicting theories such as the big bang, evolution, or(for me at least), parts of techtonic theory. I understand that each may have a basis in truth, but I also know some parts of the theories to be flawed. However, I absolutely hate when teachers will forget to tell students that those are just theories, and teach them like it is complete fact. Yes, we can see evidence of all of them around us. But, there are holes in each where religious beliefs can readily fill in.

Rather than sounding like a) A patriot whos skeptical or b) A person whos just wondering

But why is USA so powerful.. Industry. And the reason they kept their population with staying out of huge wars as much as possible ;P

( Lol those were just 2 fast statements )

The United States is the most powerful nation in the world because it is the only developed country never to have suffered a major military conflict on its own soil since 1900. Every European country and Japan were decimated by World War II. Russia was destroyed in World War I. No such catastrophe befell the United States. You might say that World War II was the best thing that happened to us in the twenteith century (for a power grabbing standpoint).

Well indeed Russia lost about 80 000 000 in WW2 ( I am not very sure if I remember correct )

USA lost about 2 million smile.gif

USA's land didn't suffer from war at all, while Russia took the biggest impact - destruction of infrastructrure & industry.

USA entered both World Wars when the other countries' resources had started to deplete.

Political Analysts say that China will be the new Superpower by the year 2020 or 2025. It's simple: China has a far greater economical, manufacturing and military potential than the USA. The Chinese are also extremely dedicated in their work. Just look at the 2008 Beijing Olympic games. They started construction in 2001, when it was announced that they would hold the 2008 Olympics. Athens, on the other hand, started work also in 2001 and look at what happened, they barely finished.

Yes, I think the national mentality matters. Look at what happened to Russia when the communistic ideas lost their power - everything went down the drain. A russian person needs strict control, he needs to fear the upper standing, or else no work will be done.

What are the americans like ?

I think your statement about Russians is wrong..

I love Russians great people mostly smile.gif

Well id like to state 2 descritpions of Americans 1 positive the other negative

1. Positive - Americans interfier in places such as when Iraq took over Kuveit.
Americans do alot of scientific research that is important
American industry provides alot needed for the world

( Seeing as im not an American I couldnt well point out alot.. Individual positive things )

2. Negative - ( I am just saying these things by what it has seemed to me by media, internet

Americans seem to be ignorant
America is a huge pollutant country, and mostly no1 cares or does anything to lower pollution

I cant name much things, positive or negative seeing as myself am not an American or have never been to America, and I have met very few Americans in my life. ( And problably the things that I named, indivudualy arent so true )
