Speaking of whether "being gay is a sin or not" (sorry for joining this discussion this late,) here are my thoughts about it:
I think being gay is both personality AND choice. Besides, EVERYONE is given the choice of being gay, everyday of our lives we can choose to say "I love this man!" and kiss/have sex with him. The only ones that actually make that choice are ones who think being gay is ok or find it comfortable. For instance, some people love adventure, some dont. Everyone's given the opportunity (without coercion) to go on an adventurish trip but not everyone accepts it. Only those who love adventurous trips would choose to go on an adventure. It's their personality.

Again this is why you are making indecisive mad. You misinterpreted what he was saying. What he means by "ignoring" gays is he doesn't bash/deride them neither does he corroborate them; he's just letting them be what they want to be.

You guys are getting WAY to emotional, some of you guys are pretty hurt or extremely agitated. You guys are too proned to inciting each other to ranting/hurt feelings. I say you guys should stop. It's fine if u guys carry on the discussions but refrain from roaring at people or pissing them off. I think it partly both side's fault.
For instance, indecisiveman saying people aren't reading his posts or yelling at them to start reading his posts.
And jetblast (and maybe others) making/jumping into too many conclusions too quickly with rants and/or things that can incite turbulance.
So please refrain from doing that sort of stuff. It makes things sooo much better and much more affective

I'm sick and tired of hearing about gays AND christians. My god let it rest. So many of the topics here are about gays/marriage and religion/christians.

there is nothing wrong with being gay because it is your own choice. the guidance couselor and the art teacher at my school are both gay, but does that really matter, the guidance counselor is smart, friendly and a good guidance counselor and the fact that hes gay doesnt mean anything. i belive that all people are equl, no matter if their gay, black a jew or anything else and people shouldnt insult others jsut because they are diffrent. you just claim because some dudes wrote a book that said that god created a man and a woman there is something wrong with men being with men.

we'll theres probly many gay people here wanting to get married and wanna hear our feeback. They just dont tell us their gay.
