I auditioned for table writer and graphics person. I wonder if i can get 3 jobs. My friend still hasnt gotten on aim to send me my old model files.

I might have to make a new 1.

Goodluck then. I can see they need graphics people, if I think I have the time to handle being in 2 teams, I might just audition aswell(But that is most unlikely).

It is a good point, but how do I let a super-uber guy on the team who is better than someone else? Being fired is a sad thing, but everyone can't all be on the team.

If the SEN modding team does not acquire enough 3d modellers any time soon, I might just audition for a spot on the team. I do not by any means want to over burden myself like you mentioned =D. But I wouldn't mind that much being on 2 teams, I do have alot of spare time occasionaly.

"A mod i've been looking into making for a while is an air combat mod. Basically, this mod would transform Zerg Protoss and Terran into their army’s respective air forces.
For example, in the Zerg Army, Mutalisks would be the basic unit, and then would be upgraded to new creative type zerg units.

A major change to SC will be the pace of the game. Unlike SC, you will need to be constantly on the move, and with a mobile flying base fly from one resource patch to another. The enemy will have an easy time finding you if you stay in one spot as I plan scout aircraft to be available very early.

The mod would probably rely on Micro more than Macro, so that it is not a rush to get the best aircraft, a weakness, which SC suffers from. I would like there to be different classes of aircraft such as fighter’s bombers, command ships etc.

Most graphics I envision as SC modifications, such as advanced scouts, wraiths with bigger/more guns to keep into the SC universe and theme while adding new content for player to enjoy

I myself see no issue with that idea; the memory patching would go fairly quickly, and the table diting would be....intriquing. The data editors might have a tricky tome trying to balance out the weapons and stats, but otherwise a fairly straight-forward mod.

I'm interesting in seeing what the graphics people will be able to do with it, however. That's going to be interesting.

You seem very desperate for more 3d graphic artists ermm.gif . I really would join but I'm already entangled in an other team. Just a question, do you supply concept art for the 3d modellers to do? Or do you expect them to think out a concept for the model themselves?

Anyways, a few questions. Since it's all in the air, would that mean we'd have to make every base move by flying, or did I miss something?

Also, if they are flying, why not make a whole new level of play and make the resources move too? As in, you have to mine from asteroids and they can move around ect. It'd be cool for space battles, since I can't imagine SCV going around Outer Space mining crap while people are flying in around them.

It probably wouldn't be the hardest mod to make, maybe we should put in some ideas here? Or we can ask Yoshi for our own forum.

...That would be annoying at best. To be honest, somethings should fly and other just shouldn't. But, I suppose if the Data Editors want to, they could do it. All I have to worry about are the buttons and the table editin stuff...

It's up to the Project Lead to give any concept ideas and art necessary.

This is, afterall, High's idea and not mine. When we get the grahics artists, I'll ask for a forum and we'll get underway.
