Again, you guys think u just turn the table of burden of proof over onto the skeptic's side. But you can't, because logic doesn't work that way.
If someone says that the storyline to halo was actually a real part of history. And that covenant has tried to erase our history, but thanks to some rebels, they have tried to uncovered the truth, and placed it into a video game. But the covenant have killed the real creators of the game, and have replaced them with fake dummies.
The skeptics would ask the people that claim that halo story for proof. If they can't prove that they're right, they're wrong. However we are UNABLE TO PROVE THAT THEY ARE WRONG.
However, the halo people would then ask the skeptics to say why THEY'RE right. (This is basically exactly what you're doing. You're no differant than them in my eyes. You're basing your beliefs on a game in 1890's, better yet, the writing of a symbol)
With your logic, you must assume that halo side right. You're so open minded, you're naive. But then again you're not open minded at all, (However you still are naive) cause you don't consider that you could be wrong. (How do like the taste of your OWN medicine?) After you die, blood stops flowing through your brain. If there's no blood in the brain, it doesnt have any energy. Thus you are not able to think. Thinking is what is you. All the information you have processed and wich made you, are gone. Trapped in the lifeless brain. thus you are... DEAD. After dieing, its not very likely that a supernatural you starts floating around, banging pots and switching lights on and off. As for the soul thing, its logical your body starts losing weight. As Theoretical has already said, but now in a simple way, dead people dont eat. they decompose. Wonder how much a guy after lying for 100 years burried weighs? As for the zombie thing..
