The thing is, you can't explain the type of person DLK is, it's just something you know(once you know). Jes to put an end to some trash talk(that's how this thread got so big btw, trashing lunatic) you know/think/believe his map sux, so tell him why it sux so bad(which some people did) then leave it be. This thread should be completely seperate from what you want to state about your personal dislikes of DLK. However, this being his thread it doesn't really make sense for him to be reacting and even picking arguments with the posters. Therefor every1 is at fault for arrogance, ignorance, and flame. So jes to end the pages of arguing in this thread, people leave your opinions on the map maker of this map for a different place and time - and mr.greatest map maker, don't tell others to stop flammin ur thread and then turn around and do it urself. Tryin to put out fires with wood.... only makes em bigger.

Let's stop the arguing and focus on how good/horrible/etc. the map itself is.

heres something to help him with the map..try making the beach look more like a beach? not a mud covered area with a bunch of archons exploding with crystals all over the place as blockades. There i'm helping him with the map! as for what he can do to fix that...mabye he can use his so called "revolutionary special shiz" and fix it!

Though out the map we only allowed one weapon, will we go up in ranks? Like from private to LT kinda thing. But then again that just more work. Will we see on beach Allied soldiers running though the mine-field and blowing up hehe blood!?

Lol maybe you skipped over the part where he said it would be a suprise? I would roughly say that he is probably going for historical accuracy and will have to capture some towns and stuff, take out different artillery positions, capture bridges, and go on different missions as such. Or, of course, the beach could be the entire game. Who knows? It would be fun to do missions right on the beach as well (like on MoH: Frontline). I think that would be a neat idea rather than going to capture towns and stuff, because doing different objectives on the beach would be completely original, at least I haven't seen a map with objectives on the beach anyway.

LoL WW3 may have ended but there will soon be a WW4!!! mwhahaha,
anyway cloud after the beach the alliance pretty much run around all over the place shooting the nazis left n right cause the allied forces won..so it just woudn't make sense that all of a sudden the nazis pulled out 1000 tanks n blew the allied troops into the water, yet this is a very simple saying of what happens I don't think it will get much more exciting then that (not to say the events after weren't important)...unlesss DLK u can do some idea taking from diff maps and actually make it feel more alive and full..even tho this is sc. mabye make the campaign that happened a bit before the beach as well as some important battles After (not to say cpt stikes idea isn't good). But even with that i don't think it can knock of any socks for this is the internet as DLK pointed out earlier. Yet it may be a decent map to play for a couple of minutes while i'm on sc. DLK I really do look forward to wasting some time and giving u some feedback.

to answer forsakens question, the map is not a diplo map...considering its about a mass suicide at the beach. I'm sure if u play dlks demo it may give u some idea of what its going to be like..if not play Panzers Normandy Map..i'm pretty sure it will be something similiar to that, if i'm not mistaken. Or if u still don't get the point go play DLK's 28 Days Later map and then go play Mp)Marines Halo:The Arrival map and i'm sure u'll get the point.

i dunno y he named it that i mean if it was to be accurate he could have said Omaha Beach:Operation Overlord or w/e the name was but that would probaly take all the beaches into consideration. Therefore the title would be Operation Overlord: Omaha Beach for just one beach. u can't really say the beach is bad cause thats the name of it but....u would say the title is bad wich i think u were trying to get at. as to fix the title i can't really think of any orginal titles that really stand out as being good lol...(that hasn't been taken)
