Eh, I found sorta a glitch with the melee attack. When an enemy zealot attacks me, I target something far away. The shot kills the far away enemy, and melee attack kills the zealot. Plus, it wastes no ammo.
I finally managed to kill a dt in the forest. I guess I just needed to upgrade the gun first.
BTW, is there any way to start survival mode without watching the tutorial?
Found 2 glitches actually.
When you shoot, then you die right after you shoot, the "burrow 'u' to reload" spams alot.
And on the highway, if you shoot across, you can just skip all of the bad thingies and just go to the jet bike.
I noticed the shooting glitch when I used the SMG gun and died.
Major glitch found. During the highway level, when the CC is chasing after me, when you get to that part with the intersection shaped like >, the northern white buildings are in the way. I fought off the ultras that kept spawning in the way. Eventually though, the CC ran me over. I waited 15 seconds, then my spawn point spawned at that ramp near the > intersection. The defiler spawned at the holding area in the top left, and I never respawned.
Whew.

Whenever I used evacuate I got 5 gas back.
Woops forgot to update the refund. The idea is that if you use evac and it fails you get your money back. I'll fix that later, but for now don't use it as an exploit for vanilla play.

No slots now sorry. I'm going to hold off adding more until the final chapter is done. That way I won't have any guilt about showing unfinished content and giving wrong impressions etc.

Heh, I just beat the turret part versing Gulgala or w/e its name is. I assume thats as far as youve gotten. You should really tone down Gulgala. It was really hard even with codes. Maybe make it take 7-12 hits to kill? I don't know, just do whatever you want.
Also, when versing Gulgala, i would kill it, then a second or so later, he would divide and attack me even though he wasn't there.
The same thing would happen to the science vessels on the Plains.
Ok, I've received BETA version 2. I'll be able to test it this weekend and I'll be sure to test the later versions.
Well the Sci Ves guys would just trigger a spawn if alerted. I could probably cut the spawns if you managed to kill them before they completed it. That makes a bit more sense than what I have now, now that I think of it.
The gargula... lol. This'll make the 3rd time I've cut down his stages. I think instead I'll give him some extra moves. Perhaps even add a bit to the nydus part as well.
Thanks for the feedback, though. I trust the bugs and difficulty was at least a little bit thinner this time?

Ok PCFredZ if you want to be a tester badly I'll send you a link and PM with information. I am looking for feedback, but at this point I'm more interested in confirmation that the major bugs have been removed than actual things to add/change. Unfortunately I now have a deadline to complete this by, it seems (but don't worry I'll have it done fully nonetheless.)
The hyrda that gives you vision in the gargula cave slows you down(not sure if you can solve that).
Can you make it so that the gargula cave part where your looking for detonation packs doesn't have gargula teleporting around? Using mines, I see him go one way, so I go the other. I usually end up running into him.

I've beaten it, although I had to save up 1000 gas for Gargula (although I barely needed the last 500, I almost could have beaten it with 500). The main problem I have with Gargula is not about the difficulty, but about the fact that it has so much luck involved.

If you have fast enough reactions you can 'kill' him (although it's really just hurt him, he is only temporarally stopped).
I guess I am just too slow. My defiler has to turn around to shoot, but I am already dead.
Usually if you are constantly moving he won't appear (at least for me it's like that, also it helps to have around 12 armor so you can take 2 hits from him, so you get more time to hurt him.
Ok, I did a long test for this. I got up to the turret part but I lost after I was doing very good. I didn't really see many bugs in this version but I encountered the problem where the units step over you when you reload but it worked to my advantage because I used a grenade and killed them all. For the turret part, do you think that you could make it play a sound whenever a CC comes at you? I was killing guardians and then I looked at the turret and noticed a CC right next to it and then I died. I can't always look at the minimap for pings of them coming.
It does make a sound, it beeps a few times in a row, you probably just didn't hear it.
yea, i tested it again up to the gargula cave part. it gives a nice effect on you with the music and wav, but it was pretty hard.
i think i almost got passed the gargula cave part except that the map crashed on me.
after i found the 5 explosive packs, setting explosives, it centered somewhere and crashed me...i didn't use and maphacking thingies, but i don't know why it crashed me.
For the crashing part, same happened to me. But I think it has to do with the placing the rock doodads during the explosion part (when it centerviews at middle of map). I pushed my hotkey 1 (defiler), and once my view quickly went to that one area, my game crashed. That was from my experience. I havn't gotten to that part yet on Beta 2.

! This map will be great! I don't want to beta test at all, just play the map when it is 100%ly done. So when will it be fully done?
