He didnt even say anything. All he gave was some constructive critisism he didnt say "OMFG!!11 DLK U N00BER" or anything like that. You need to like chill and learn how to take peoples opinions and calm down with ur "superhero" ego. ok DLK as u can see legacy cleaned up the thread up there ^ ^ so..i'm not to sure what there is to report but anyway, thanks shady for backing me up....see DLK i'm not flamming u now, its just called constructive critisim, wich is alowd apparently.
as for the map u should have more screenshots of ur "revolutionary ideas" it would be nice to see what ur doing, if it isn't a secret, or if its still on hold then nvm.

TO Legecy: This is not another flame post. It is permission to constructively critize

Contructive Critism is a good thing. It helps build character along with maybe point out errors. As a map maker I take constructive critism very lightly but also use it has a gauge to fix my map. Though your ideas seem locked down that isnt the best way to do things sometimes. It could be nice to open the flood gate and let your ideas flow. Though instead of Realism I would point towards fun. With the limits of SC trying to have realism just doesn't work because of the lack of 3d. You can not have covering fire and so on because well as before no 3d. Remember this is SC and you can only so much before you ruin the fun or take control away from the player. Anyway keep up the work.

I'm not writing this stuff because I have a sincere distaste for him (which, please note, I do), but because so many others, including he, have made such grand claims in the past. He, like so many others, have failed, in my surprisingly open and objective opinion regarding his maps, to deliver.

Okay, so I just may be speaking because I don't necessarily like him. However, what I speak I hold to be the truth.

Did any one back in that time period use curse words like the drill sergent did??
I dont think they did and when I heard him say that stuff I instantly though " shiz shiz shiz shiz ! " And I left and deleted it from my folder.

I would have to agree with the last 2 posts....The Drill sargent let out a fury of cursing that wasnt even around at that time period. Very non realistic. Not Extrodanary. Pretty dumb in the long run. Im sorry but even I know the limits on cursing.

The swearing part is acctually pretty funny. I know most of you guys are like 9-10 years old, but oh well, don't download the map then

But my post has tons of relevance to this topic. Stop showing your signs of PMS when perhaps two-thirds of a mapping community rejects your maps.

1. You have been a complete prick to me for quite some time now, even though I never deserved your "wrath" to begin with.
2. With every single map I have played that is yours, the gameplay doesn't flow. At all. End of story.
3. The original maps that you've copied ideas from a) feel more authentic, b) have better gameplay, and c) are fun to play.

I'll be frank. I don't like you. But I really am writing this in the SEN (please note not your) forums because your maps are rather unpopular for a reason, which is to say I almost never see them being played.

i have to agree with most people, the text that u put in here DLK is kinda....i dunno wierd? considering ur trying to go for accuracy the text kinda blows the accurate part away...really. And to stick up for felegund...DLK u coudn't pwn anything lmao...afterall this is the internet.

As a suggestion to ur map i think u should try n read up on famouse quotes people said in the war...mabye lines from Saving Private Ryan, even if u use lines from some video games like CoD, i'm sure that will help tons on getting the text accurate.

uncall for. Felagund has his own issues with DLK im sure can be solved over pm, Plus what going on between DLK and Felagund has nothing do with you at all. Most of your suggestions about his maps more insults then helping him. + i dont think he really cares what you think. At this rate you will be warned again.

U-Boats are german subs. Maybe you are thinking of Higgins Boats or Landing Craft.

Also cursing was very common in WW2 boot camps and still common today. Cursing is part of the Soldiers normal language. Thats why movies are not rated lower most the time because of it. Thats why the language is not beeped on tv when it is shown on ABC and stuff. Because it was considered part of the soldiers natural language.

I'm getting really tired of cleaning crap from this topic. There are a lot of pointless posts and if it continues, I'll be handing out more warns/suspensions.

as for the issue with the text, i'm guna stick to what i said...go look on some WW game, or look it up on the internet.

well. theres more to the inaccuracy. Techno music. Techno music in a WWII map is well...it doesnt fit.

heres an Example of how badly it doesnt fit.

"Thats like playing rap on a Country radio station."

I'm not saying i hate techno music , i just think it doesnt fit in this map.

Honestly the cursing wasn't rightly formed, and was used in the WRONG mannor. Drama is action and romance, not cursing massly.

And yea, you need Epic like music, not techno.

I liked the Techno music, but epic music would be nice. And maybe Ambient sounds

I have techno music for the death parts, but really nice epic music for other stuff. Hey, I've been listening to this techno song over and over and it's very dramatic. You guys must be too obssessed with the game to notice the drama in this sad song. It's a mix of DJ Tiesto with Samuel Barber (Classic Musician, original song was shown in the vietnam movie "Platoon"). Anyway, keep the comments coming!

And although the majority of people on b.net today are 10, who says thay are the ones playing your map? Hmm..? I think WW II Junkies would be jumping on it first. And plus, by going off like some "superhero" about your map..Its not really the best idea. Your viewers will be gone in a flash. You are NOT the dominate person on b.net. Stop acting like it. Now for my constructive criticizm. Stop the F*CKING cursing out of your *ss like its kewl or somthing. Make the boot camp longer, it kinda sucked b*llz. And besides that, the footsteps were buggy. Thats a really noobish mistake on your part. Now go home, learn about making "friends" and stop using Activision as your clan name. ITS NOT YOURS. Its A direct copyright of Activision, The real professionals. And I don't see professionalism comming out of you. Work on this Sh*t a little more, and stop acting like its going to change the world. Its not yet, and it doesn't look like its going to in the late future. Oh and by the way, Im going to create a REAL war game to combat against yours. Let the best man win.
