Global warming will not cause "The Day after Tommorrow". Global warming will not cause such significant temperature increases that we will notice it. Global warming will cause the ice caps to melt, which will put too much freshwater into the salt water, which will cut off that warm water route that goes around the east coast. We probably won't notice it. And then, it'll cause some problems, sure.

Then again, if we undertook a massive project to reconnect some salt flats to the ocean, that'll probably help fix the problem.

Freshwater is not a problem. Adjectives describing the ocean include "freaking big", "huge", and "immense". If we use the ocean for our water be desalinating it, we'll have water. Think of how long freshwater has lasted, how much longer it will last, and multiply that by about forty. That's how much longer we have for water.

If the gulf stream is slowed or stopped Europe will become a mini Canada.

I believe we're on the course for the next progressive age of leaders, there has been to much stagnation for my taste puke.gif .

If the plates are still moving, iraq is going to crash into united states and there will be terrorist attacks 24/7

This is also on the fact that the US and Iraq are next to each other. But I doubt these two countries will be put right next to each other considering their is a huge land mass between and by looking at the world map they are moving to the outside so Russia will be in the way, along with China and crap!

Wrong Information. Some have been on death row for 9 years. Some recent case, a guy was on DR for 7 years, and 9 days before his execution, DNA testing proved he was innocent. I'll look for the bbc link for it.

You are definately *add word here because I will be warned*

notice I capitalized CIA fool. Al-CIAda was trained by the CIA, look up the soviet 19-80's war in afghanistan.

It is common sense that you can not use oil straight out of the ground, and don't talk about people needing to do more research, you can't even spell Al-Quada right, unless you were making fun of them some how.

LOL your entire argument was based on spelling, especially when I intentionally spelled it like that. God, stupid people shouldn't breed.

It's actually Al-Qaida. I win.

Here's a scenario. Say your family owns a store, could be anything, a gas station or a restaurant. Say one day, while your father is the cashier, someone mugs the store, and kills him. Do you a) Want him to die or b) have him let go after a few years in prison. Personally, I'd want him killed, by lethal injection or electric chair, I don't care. Here's another question. Should Saddam be executed or put in prison for life... Being someone sick enough to use chemical warfare on civilians, I think he deserves to die. If you have raped and killed 3 women, I think that you should die. Sure, killing the killer may not bring your loved one back but it sure as hell makes you feel better knowing that he is either dead or can't do anything like this again. If you let a killer go to jail, then get out in a set number of years, what's to stop him/her from killing again? Personally I don't care how they die yet in my opinion, however they killed the victim, they should be treated the same way. If someone has been mutilated or had their limbs cut off, I don't think that justifies the quick and easy death of a killer. Its not right to let someone suffer while the killer goes nice and easy unless he's being electrocuted.

Ya and using NUCLEAR WEAPONS on a city of civilians with no known military presence... on not just one city but 2. YA he;s sicker then the US. I hope you know we sold him those weapons. and what people don't realize is that the brutal sanctions imposed on him by the US killed more then 10 million civilians... yet we cry over 180,000. I guess its only bad when he does it. Oh wait whats this!??!?!

Ha, Silent pwned us all. And yes, I did see an article on the CIA training the Al-Qaeda. If I read correctly, the reason they trained them was so they could better fight the Russians. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure you would do it if I did not ask. But what are you going to do? Sure we screwed up, but you still can't put the blame on the US.

For all of you who don't know, Canada has recently caught Muslim Canadian terrorists before they set off a series of terrorist attacks from blowing up a Canadian Parliament building to beheading the prime minister. This link will tell you about the stopped attack.

Terrorist Attack In Canada

Yes and this has made headlines for newspapers for practically the whole week. A mosque was destroyed as well due to certain racisme. This was also linked to an arrest in the UK.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Pyro_Maniak14 on 2006-06-10 at 00:36:42
Didn't hear about the mosque. If this happened it would've probably been 9/11 in Canada.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Kashmir on 2006-06-10 at 01:08:22
uh no it wouldn't have. They had bombs but not enough to cause a 9/11 of any sort. As I have said before, in order to fight terrorism today, you must figure out what caused it yesterday.

You realize the Al-Quada (not Al-Ciada or however your spelling it) are already in hiding... If they weren't, we would of already found them.

And Kellimus, if we are only in Iraq for oil, why are gas prices so damn high? Wouldn't you think that they would be lower right now since we are currently in Iraq?

I swear to god. How old is everyone in this damn discussion? 12? For freak sakes: SUPPLY AND DEMAND!!!!! THAT is why the gas prices are so damn high! SUPPLY AND freakING DEMAND!

Supply = Iraq.

Demand = Us.

Iraq wants money. Racks up the prices for the Demand (US)

D0 ANY 0F Y0U freakING GET IT YET?!

uh yes we can blame the US. The is, in todays world, the biggest emitter of state-sponsored terrorism. We have trained many groups of terrorists, from al-CIAda to the el-savedor(SP?) death squads, or better known as "reagan's freedom fighters". We currently offer asylum to many known terrorists, such as the cuban airline bomber, we offered the former Shah asylum before he finally died. We refuse to extradite many because they may uncover their connections to the US. We have overthown many elected governments, such as Chile's, Greneda, and others. We have continually tried to assassinate Fidel Castro, execute coups in many countries including venuzuela, and last but not least we have perpetrated a propaganda campaign against them.

We only consider it terrorism when its against us and our allies. When we commit it, its called fighting terrorism.

When they put bombs in cars and kill people, they are terrorists. When we put bombs on missles and kill people, its called fighting terrorism. Doublethink.
