Terrorists just want all their enemies dead unless they convert to their religion... Because they are extremists and will stop at nothing, so they target people with high reputations to deal the most damage to a country.
Jet_Blast... C'mon... Why are you arguing over that... Like I said, Death Penalty / Electric chair. It's simply a branch of the death penalty so death penalty related issues are SIMILAR. Why are you getting so fussy?
I think the real question is, why are you getting so fussy over a tiny section of what I said that you actually have to make single posts arguing with me about it?
Uh... I'm not the one being fussy when you keep telling people to make another topic about the death penalty when it can be talked about here... And I had to make it a single post without anything new about the topic because there is nothing new to talk about...

I told one person, twice, and I hardly even spoke about it. Just get back on topic.

Easy: They don't spend it like they say they do. And as Jammed clearly pointed out to anyone who isn't as dense as you, their new "alternate sources of energy" aren't enough to provide "energy" to america. Are you really that inaine to understand a basic and common sense ideal? Just because we are spending money on something, doesn't mean it's readily available within the first week of research/spending.
And you always talk about proof. Why haven't you ever provided any proof for anything that you like to argue about? You claim we have no proof of what we talk about (When Euro even posted a REPUBLUCAN cited source for proof that we aren't what we say you are, but you debunk it because it doesn't go with your views. Which shows that you're a close-minded hypocrite.) but you never show proof of you say.
Why are you so hypocritical?

The numerous times I have had to site proof, mmm to you about the FIRST world trade center bombings (omg why should I even debate you about terrorists if you didn't even know about that) that I had to provide proof about, when I was explaining the physics on how it is impossible for the WTCs to be demo-ed with explosives on 9/11, I even had pictures and sources...
Oh wait I do believe in other soures and I have cited this book many times "They Just Don't Get It" -David Hunt. Thats citing proof. The list goes on man, drop that arguement.
Speaking of proof. Kellimus tell me what the government is specifically doing to the money that they are "not spending it like they say they do".
How do you know that? Please provide proof.

Detainees from Guantanamo (the few that have been released) have also claimed to have been tortured by the U.S. There were also a few military personnel that resigned because they disagreed with the methods being used.
QUOTE(CNN.com)
American officials reportedly have acknowledged using water boarding as one of the more extreme techniques to elicit information from suspects.
The technique involves strapping down interrogation subjects and dunking them in water or otherwise making them feel that they may be drowning, though they are not.

Finally some one provides proof.
But I have always been very critical when people say the US tortures prisoners becuase in the book "They Just Don't Get It" -David Hunt, which has a captured and translated al quada training manuel, in it I read that if captured you would be treated better then most other countries would treat them. That if an oppertunity arises try and tell news reporters or claim abuses that are happening in order to get out. If the oppertunity arises, to start a prison revolt. The list goes on in the book. And since its in their frickin manuel to tell these things then obviously I would be not so trust worthy of inmates...
I would agree if it was just the prisoners. But it's also Amnesty International, the U.N., half the British government, U.S. personnel and released inmates (who were proven not to be terrorists).
I'm sure that many of you have heard about it already, but for those who havn't, the mosquito ringtone is a ringtone that adults are unable to hear, but teens can. It's a high frequency ring. In fact, it can be found
here. Should this be allowed in school? This means that kids can text to friends without teachers noticing.
Personally, I'm split on this one. Suppose somebody has a genuine possibility of there being an emergency and needs an able source of communication without disrupting class. However, I believe teens will take advantage of this ringtone and not pay attention in class.
I really can't think of any need to call a friend and disrupt a class.. It's not a big deal, people will sneak it one way or another. Texting is easy enough to do, especially with rumble.. and it's not like you're masking your voice from the teacher or anything.
It'll suck for whoever abuses it and gets a 50% on one of their tests.
Yet another technological invention turned to the use of teenagers and cell phones.
I don't care if it gets used. Here's why...
1. If you are on the phone, you aren't paying as much attention to the class....it is your own choice. Makes other people look better anyway when you do worse.
2. Some adults still can hear it. A test with the ring-tone showed that a 28 year old teacher could still hear the frequency used. Again, if you use it and get caught, your own fault.
3. Yes, it can be good. If you do need to be reached, it can helpful. But then again, if everyone in your class can hear it, it'll still cause some heads to turn...and becomes yet the distraction that cell phones can be.
4. Seeing how the technology was originally developed, it might still cause the same effect on some teens. Another disruption/distraction.
Still, it's a rather interesting use of a natural condition...
It's what vibrate is for.
I just wish I could listen to the sound. I'll have to bookmark it so that I can listen later when I have sound.
That is really awesome, my parents couldn't hear it at all.
Damn spoiled brats. I didn't get a cellphone until I was 16. Most of my classmates didn't have them either (in fact, I can't think of a single one). And the school I went to for my last 2 years of high school was very strict about no cell phones. You got patted down and had to walk through a metal detector every morning. They'd send your ass home if you brought a cell phone. Nowadays, kids can't survive without the annoying little gadgets.
I feel like an old man. =\
Im still hearing it even though i closed the window... i dont think that should be happening.
It's at a very high frequency, so it's possible for you to shut a window and still be able to hear it.
That's like... really high. My ears hurt. People nowadays don't even have the ringtone and they still don't pay attention. A girl that sits next to me in French class plays 'Tetris' all the time on her phone. Everyone else just uses the old fashioned note or text each other. Kids barely pay attention in class nowadays, the ringtone may increase that number but I'd rather use vibrate, otherwise everyone in the class is going to start freaking out and smacking their ears with their hands because an high-pitched sound just went throught the room, then the teachers are going to wonder what the hell is going on and then stuffs going to happen.

However, I believe teens will take advantage of this ringtone and not pay attention in class.
If that's your reason for disallowing it, most kids are either going to pay attention in class or not regardless of whether or not their phone is distracting them.
That kinda stuff can't be good for your ears..
I'm glad no one knows about this in my school, and even if someone did have the tone, i doubt someone would use it, because even if there are rules that forbid using cellphones in my school, everyone uses it anyway, all the teachers say (if at all) if they hear a ringtone is "turn off the sound!", and most just use vibrate anyways..
I seriously think that girls with cell phones should be shot. Not all of them, just the ones that disregard the fact that cell phones arent alowed in school. Especcially when they are young. When I was in sixth grade no one had a cell phone. 7th grade is when I realized how stupid parents were of giving cell phones to 7th grade girls who are all making their bill a million dollars! I am a sophomore in High School and I dont haev a cell phone because I dont need one! I just use someone elses because now everyone has one, its not like I need to spend my money on something I can barrow. lol
I think that this is not necesary, Teachers would be outraged if this thing came out!

Right. It doesn't matter what happens, if someone doesn't want to pay attention, they won't. However, since some people who want to pay attention may be distracted by the ringtone more than by other distractions, something probably will be done in several schools.QUOTE(TheDaddy0420 @ Jun 12 2006, 05:26 PM)

YOU. Since

I don't get why it is a big deal they are extremely simalar... o well...
There are many pros and cons for both opinions, some are :
Pros :
POSSIBLY end world hunger, unless the cloning people are greedy.
Provide organs for people in need of donors who cannot find a perfect match
Cons :
-Imagine you being a clone. you have to go on living knowing you aren't real.
-Harvesting human organs from clones? That just doesn't sound right
-Research shows that clones have a shorter life span than average humans. Thus far, cloned animals have not lived up to their full age.
My opinion? Humans don't have the right to play God. Let nature take its course. People die for a reason. Having a cure for everything isn't necessarily a good thing. The Earth's carrying capacity is rapidly reaching its maximum as it is now. Soon, the world may not have enough resources to support every human being living in this Earth.
