Ok first of all, since you obviously missed 3 pages of discussion for some unapparent reason, I'll tell you this flat out: many people want to see cloning become available. Your egocentric remark doesn't change that fact. Also, you seem to have absolutely no idea of what a clone is. A clone is not you, a clone is a person with your genes. A clone would lead a completely different life and would develope characteristics probably much more differently than you have. In fact if you and your clone were separated by a mile or two for a few years, chances are you would never find your clone again unless you had his/her personal information. Also, you really shouldn't be trying to argue about your point of view if you have absolutely no information about the subject.

I'm against cloning 100%, unless it is used for medical healing. Do you think clones would have souls? Also, I wouldn't want to do God's work.

Yay! Zarquwi is dead! It's pointless to celebrate his death since someone even as crazy as him is going to take his place. Like in this movie I saw, The Seige, once you kill one terrorist cell, another takes it's place. You may be able to kill Osama and his high ranking officers, but the idea of terrorism and dying for their religion or whatever will NEVER die. Now we just have about 50 more terrorists to kill in air raids...

Cloning is playing God basically, and thats not what we should be doing. Even if we could clone people, only the rich could do it, because I don't think replicating an entire person's brain and nervous system is going to be equvialent to a Big Mac.

The church is just stupid to fight against gays and lesbians, because God says its unholy to be gay doesn't make being gay wrong. The church just wants attention and fighting the gay community is a way of obtaining it.

The chruch tends to argue with everything, and at stupid points, in my opinion.
Being homosexual is not an active decision (most of the time), it's a bit of wiring in you mind that got crossed, or possibly too much estrogen in a male, or too much testasterone in a female. Whatever the case, it's usually 100% natural. How can you argue against something that happens naturally?
And then they go and argue against Stem Cell research saying it's not natural, and "kills the unborn", when in reality you only have to remove one cell from the embryo and that single cell will continue to multiply on its own, and the child will develop without deformities, mental defects, etc.
Of course, that's a whole other issue...

I really don't get why some christians see being gay in general as wrong. In the bible it only defines marriage as a bondship between man and woman; that's it. So THEN that's when certain people then interpret this to mean that gay marriage is wrong, since it uses the word "marriage." However, this does NOT mean that being gay in general is wrong. I mean, if being gay is something you've become naturally, not by choice, then how the hell can it be considered a "sin?" Sins are voluntary actions done by humans. Besides, there's LOTS of gay christians just as religious as straight people.

Nice neutrality point, as usual millenium. Now look at it like this. The bible says to love your neighbor and to not be as sinful(this isn't quoted but more like the main idea of what the bible is saying) as to lust after another woman or man that is as you are. If you think behind the reasoning of it, this is different from "Gay Love" and "Gay... Exploration". Men arousing other men was actually a form of satan worshipping that dates as far back as the 13th century(as far as I know). So when you think about the meanings and reasons behind being gay and what the bible quotes say.... you can kinda grasp your own understanding of it. Loving a man so much that you want to engage in... sex with him... doesn't sound so evil to me. Many people are gay but don't take it that far, the thought just crosses his or her mind but then they come to grip with the fact that society won't allow it. And you're too scared to try it. Also, remember that in the bible there is a quote denouncing the possibility of the bible coinciding itself. Therefor most things that
----->X<------ are usually because someone intentionally tried to twist it that way. As far as what I think, gays are gay and so is everyone else. But the gay that is about exploration and senseless... sex... is probably what the bible is talking about. Cuz if you read it, it does say something about watch your mind from wondering.
