Bolt, I commend you in releasing these maps, but I refuse to download them. I respect you too much to do so, but still, you can at least help out some newbies with the triggering aspect of Mapping, so thanks for being cool. smile.gif

U know, albert Einstein failed Highschool because he asked too many questions the teachers got sick of trying to answer because they didn't know.

I can see that you're kind of sick from all the adulation you're getting... wink.gif

Wanna share some of that excess adulation amongst us all  happy.gif

I only heard that he failed highschool math. Not highschool as a whole, I leaning towards beliving that was fabracated.

I get alot less adulation that you might think.

GREAT MAPS! I still think you should post one location bound which is already un protected. Never quite got the hang of how that one worked...

It is very noble of you to let us download unprotected versions of your maps and sharing your knowledge with us biggrin.gif
I think a while ago I saw a spoof map of House of the Haunted that made fun of your map happy.gif

Btw is there a macro program people can download to create their own triggers, or how does it work exactly?

Lol, i've seen lots of maps that try to be like ur house of the Haunted. I believe one or two of em were made by one of (U) members (4get who and what map). Like the intro tried to mimic yours and all that funky junk. It was hilarious and sad at the same time happy.gif

anyone, please care to explain how "one location" bound works?
Does Bolt actually USE the one location he has? Because it sounded like to me that he didn't use the one location at all...

Edit - Additonal info

Try to do left-clicking over the maps and then saving link as. wink.gif
Had similar troublrs in here and since I pulled that stunt (after asking in the tech issues forum) it works fine.

To answer your question: yes.

It is a matter of having a grid of units, then making all the units owned by one player except for one unit owned by a different player and "centering location" on that unit.

You can easily (hard - at first) single out one unit out of a pile of units using the 'give order'.

Technically if the Anywhere location was small enough, you could use it instead of a new location. You could do this by making a map and resizing it. Then you could call it 0 location bound. wink.gif

Your refering to the one location bound right? I already linked them to it. And try to use the quote a little more if you would.

Hey Bolt I remember when i was new to map making a friend showed me alot of your trick maps like coordinates, gunship, slow unit, (and this crazy one with 4 different ghost around a scourge) and alot of others that i don't remember. Some were unprotected, some weren't. Would you mind releasing a map pack with all those trick maps?

Those ones always amazed me...

I liked the one with Interceptors going around in patterns the most. That was awesome; and I was never able to quite replicate the idea in a similar way when I tried, so Interceptors would go along a certain curve to a unit; even when I got POed and just copied the triggers with StarForge. Anyways, I like Kevjak's idea. I'm just wondering, why are you showing your old maps unprotected? Wouldn't what you did in them have been explained enough that it would be mildyl common knowledge on SEN?
