States make the driving laws not the Nation. Differant states have differant driving ages. In Missouri (where i'm from) they changed the age you can get your drivers permit from 15 and a half to 15 right after I turned 16.
Anyways I'm 20 (21 soon w00t) I'm on my second car 1999 Nissan Maxima. I've been driving since i was 15 and a half. Got my first car when i was 17

A squad damaged my car on purpose, I had to pay $5,000 because all the windows is broken and the doors even the bumper, then later a drunk driving guy smashed up my car when I was at a store. I wasn't Drunk that time even if I'm called drunk.

Too young, and I don't really care.
First, I'm poor.
Second, I can just ride my bike.
Well, when I had one.
But, in that case, Iwould have to bring an extra inner-tube and tire-pump, because my tires on my last 2 bikes always got a hole within 4 hours
Failing that(about 99.9% of the time, no exageration), I can just walk. I'm ion no hurry to get a car.

You CAN get a license at 16, but you can't go on any major highways and plus you NEED to drive with someone else, plus i think you can only drive in certain times of the day and/or in certain either for one year. That sucks.
By the way, im 14, I became 14 january 4th, so im the oldest kid in my class and my school, not counting that kid that failed 2nd grade.
And like dt_bc, everything i've driven i've driven skilfully as well, go-karts, bumber cars, video game cars, remote control cars, bicycle, atv, + i can start a car and put it in reverse and pull out of the driveway.

When you drive those things, you always know you have a "second chance." Driving, u might only get "one chance."
Maybe bicycling, but that sort of depends where you ride it

I could be driving too and from school; but the bus is fine. I don't need to waste my money on a car and insurance and gas, I'd never use it. (until I graduate high school)
