I got it right when i turned 16 and it's feels so good driving urself to school and other places without having ur parents by your side or riding the school bus 
I drive a 1998 Toyota Camry. Believe it or not, it came from canada and i live in Austin Texas. My grandparents drove it over here as a present for us.

And what really sucks is if I can ever convince my parents into letting me go to driver's ed I'll have to pay for it all myself. With money I don't have because I don't have a job because I don't have a car to drive myself to that job that I would have if I had a car so I could get money so I could have a car and a license. They have reason to think that, since the great majority of teenagers ARE irresponsible drivers.

Man.... I will have to pay my own license and my car too... I have a Job this summer... I will have to take the buses to montreal.. such is like 1 hour of here i am....

Legally, no. But I have a feeling I can. I have driven just about anything you don't need a liscence for skillfully.

I've been driving for almost 6 months now.
I drive a 1992 Isuzu Rodeo or a 1989 Alfa Romeo GTV6
The Alfa Romeo is currently broken becasue my dad didn't use it for 3 months. I'll try to fix it by myself or with my money and then pimp it out. Same with the Rodeo it looks ugly but I'll try to make it look good.

I got a car when I turned 17 and drove it right up until I came to college in Boston, where you don't need a car. Then I sold it. It was an awesome light blue 1992 Corolla. I got $800 for it!

When you're 15 in the US you can get a drivers permit. It will allow you to drive to and from school ONLY. When you are 13, you can get a special farm permit, it allows you to drive certain basic farm vehicles (not sure which ones).

Although I would be driving now (would have been first in my school year to drive) if I had the inclination to try. I've been cycling for years, you see, and don't see any pressing need to change.

guess i have 3 years till my licence. im 13 and you need to be 15 3/4 years old to take drivers ed. after that, when your legally 16 you can get your permit. THEN after 6 months you get your licence. gosh it sucks being young.

me am 19 here, well duh i can drive, i'm driving a used 1989 chevy blazer, and i'm saving money for the new 2005 mustang, the inchurence is really high so it's gona be a while befor i get that
