Oh man I'm closer, I got the first 2 words, but I don't know your whole key. And nice "minor change" to the text. I admit I was confused at first...
EDIT:
Can you tell us how long the key is? So far I have it as at least 8 letters.
It's 8 letters; I'll give you that.
Ok I think I got it.

What do I win!

Okay I totally confused myself at first. Using HEIMID as the key gets you the first two words, but then I got stuck from there. So then i went back to the AAAA hint and tried to find a key that would turn AAAA to HEIM and AAAAAA to HEIMID, and I found it. But now when I use that key to decrypt the main message, I get nothing even close to the first 2 words. So I'm stuck...
Hmm, did you simply reverse all the text beforehand?
I'm getting warm.
EDIT:
Oh wait, I see that ShadowBrood already got it.
Oh wait, that was it? I thought he awas just being sarcastic...
So what was the key?
That's not it. If you look at the encrypted letters and to his sentence they don't match. It was sarcasm.
Oh yeah. Not to mention the fact that the encrypted message is 3 sentences, not 1.
Lol, you didn't figure the sarcasm. I said the key was 8 characters.
I was using double sarcasm to show that I'd given up.
*CaptainWill hides
OGM I REALLY WANT TEH MINERALS!!11
*Ðeathknight tries to figure it out...
So let's gather what's been said:
-8 character key
-AAAA is HEIM and AAAAAA is HEIMID
-message was made backwards in some way before encryption
I know you can do it...
lol I've got the basic idea but I can't figure it out. If I could just figure out the key.
Isn't the key glaringly obvious???
To me no not really. Just started to look at that Viginere thing.
Possible Key names (some may not be 8 chars):
Starcraft, Battlekruser, Vegenere, Password, bleh...
Does the fact that AAAAAA (at beginning of message) encrypts to HEIMID mean ANYTHING to you???
No not really

Well since everyone has given up or obviously can't do it:

I'm pretty sure thats what it should say. You had every word reversed and did a poor job of encrypting it ... that or you did it on purpose to throw off anyone trying to decrypt it. This is what it was after decrypting:
CODE
SIHT SI NA DETPYRCCE EGASSEB OT TSEU RJOY SLLIKH TA YCNEUFERF SYSAAANA DNA GCIKAERBESOC. I MA GNWPZEH UOY NB GNIKAM II RERNOL.

And after reversing the words:

Now, can I lock this thread?
I think it is your computer program, not my encryption.

For example, program spits out "DETPYRCCE". the second 'C' is wrong, but encrypted correctly ENCRYPTED - DETPYRCNE - N in 8th position on key HEIMIDAL shoys Y as in coded message.

Don't mind the fact i might have misspelled 'cryptanalasyst' in plaintext; it was correctly encrypted.
Edit: Fixed alphabet tableIf someone decrypted that, they aren't a truly great cryptologist because it's too simple. Maybe the people on SEN aren't that estatic about decrypting. Now what you gotta do is make an unbreakble code, and not the Enigma... A truly unbreakable one.
THAT, would be something.
There are unbreakable codes I could have used or something his program couldn't have done but I didn't want to make it too hard. It took a shitload of hints before anything happened though

And the cipher still fuxXored his program

For example: Unbreakble almost: vinerge cipher with key as long or longer than message
I didn't use a program so the A-Z grid I used might be off. Regardless, I got it decrypted.
Closed.
