I do it sometimes in public, but I usually hang out with my friends which are mostly my cousins and I hang out at their house too. Before I fart I yell "INCOMING!" or something like that. Then it comes and they all run! At home though. I have massive gas for no reason. Mine are loud, but don't smell at all. The funny part is the vibration though. My family is all like "MAN ROCKY IT EVEN VIBRATES!" or "You gotta stop doing that!" It's funny because I start laughing.
ADDITION: Whenever I laugh a lot I start farting. It's funny.
I might as well add a story.
One time I was like in 4th grade. One of my cousins that go to the middle school (the elementary and middle school is connected (California is quite big)) that lives pretty far had to wait for her dad to come pick her up (he usually comes earlier, but I guess he was doing overtime) anyways I was just sitting there watching TV then my brother (Blind) tells me to flip the channel to a good show. I couldn't find the remote so I went up close then bent down and all of a sudden *BOOOOOOMMMMM* right in front of her. It was loud! I was embarassed so I just went to use the computer.
LOL I'm farting while adding this addition. Don't know where all the gas comes from!

I usually fart in the morning, with the majority in the bathtub. It makes the whole spectacle visual, you know? For the rest of the day, I almost never fart, or sometimes never.
