Just because it's a secret doesn't mean it'll stay a secret.
In SC2, Blizzard could very well release the information.
It's like saying: "Here, since you are uber, you get to see a plot twist before SC2 comes!"
LAstly, it also increases interest in SC2 by leaving unanswered questions: once they announce SC2 will officialy start production, everyone will be like "OMG I can find out who Duran is now! OMFG NEED SC2!!!"

Also, even if the Xel'Naga did look like that, then he could probably easily use his technology to create a human(cloned), and transfer his mind to it, or something similar.

I think that he is Xel'Naga. Otherwise how could he have carapace? He influenced all races to create his uber race (er trying to create). He is not infested like yall said. He is not human, just has a human form. He is however protoss, that much we know (well atleast he is if hes Xel'Naga).

He is DEFINITELY not human. In the secret campaign he said he was like thousands of years old and had many forms and he just used a human form to manipulate everyone to his advantage such as creating some hybrid race. He's probably not ANY of the 3 races.

Stukov was framed. Meh, yea Stukov knew that Duran was the traitor, and before Duran killed him Stukov told DuGalle that Duran was the traitor. Then Duran disappeared. They didn't know his "master" plan about the hybrid race though. Something like that, I haven't played the campaign in a while but I also remember DuGalle saying something about killing his friend when he's about to commit suicide.

Aldaris died cuz of Kerrigan. She pretty much wanted to pwn him anyway, but i guess it kinda fit Duran's plan as well. Stukov was killed only cuz he knew Duran was with Kerrigan (which he naturally assumed that he was infested, which he wasn't really).

Kerrigan has a Carapace.
And we know nothing about the physical bodies of Xel'Naga, so for all we know, his carapace could be genetic alterations to confuse Kerrigan into thinking he's Infested.

There is a countless amount of races he could be. We weeded out human, zerg, andriod, and protoss, though he does seem to have toss in him somwhere. Our best guess is Xel'Naga, since they did create species, as he can. He might be the enemy of Xel'Naga (as someone said before), destroyed them, then took their knowledge of creating races.
