During World War II (I believe) a German official named Zimmerman sent a message over the wire to Mexico, trying to encourage the Mexican government to declare war on America and keep the American army occupied as war raged on in Europe. It seemed like a brilliant move for the Germans except for one issue - at that time, American and British operators were intercepting all messages sent over the Atlantic Ocean. An operator heard the message before it reached Mexico, told his advisors about it, and soon the story spread like wildfire that Germany was getting Mexico to ally and invade the United States.
My point was that at the time, America was pissed at Mexico for many things. And then when this message comes along stating that a German ambassador is proposing a Mexican invasion of the U.S.A., things would seem to get a lot worse for Mexico's relationship with the United States. If we had any intention of taking over Mexico, we would have done it then when we were really pissed off at them.
In the end, nothing happened though. American ended up not holding Mexico accountable because they never recieved the message.

How many stars has the american flag?
Ok im not tryin to be a smart ash but. I don't now other stars execpt earth has a american flag so in the poll i put none of the above.
But I do know that he/she means How many Stars are on the american flag.
