hi! just wanted to check if you now haow many stars the american flag has? some people say that it has 50 some other 52. but, I now that its 50 i'm i right???
just wanted to see how many you think it is.

any1 else here tired of paying ridiculous prices for gas? i say screw iraq and just take the damn oil.... its not like they are using it anyways. and for those of you who think that this idea is 'evil' or otherwise... compare oil to oxygen. if you're scuba tank is running low, and your neighbor has a full tank.. you're going to steal his... not just die. and until our moronic scientists figure out a new, equally efficient way of travel, we should just take the oil! Its a common misconception people have because they know America has 50 states, but it also has other territories like Puerto Rico - and so they assume that maybe those are represented on the flag as well. As it turn out America doesn't want Puerto Rico as a state and Puerto Ricans don't want to be an American colony.

I'm a licensed scuba diver. Wen you're out of air, you either start to surface or you share air with your neighbor to survive - you don't ouright steal it. And your example is really dumb. We don't need oil to survive. We have hybrid cars now (an equally efficient way of travel as you put it) and we've always had legs to use. Hell, we also have bicycles or horse-drawn carrages if you'd prefer. Its not like oil is something we need to live like oxygen is for a diver. That's just preposterous.

I thought puerto rico didn't want to become a state. Being a territory is much better than statehood, basically you get to have funds from a powerful nation, with the downside of not voting for that nation. But who would really want to vote for bush in Puerto Rico? They have their own system of government.

Puerto Rico has a chance to leave the US every election season. I don't know how often, but its not like they're forced to stay. As of late the running has been pretty close, from what I've heard.
