The reason I never got an XBox or Gamecube is the lack of games I'm interested in on them. Xbox only has about 1, and my friend has and lets me borrow his gamecube with the games I want to play. Provided he gets my PS2, which I have 2 of now, and whatever game he wants for it. Mutually beneficial.

You know... now that I think about it, Xbox and PS2 are both good, and this arguing is driving me nuts! Xbox was always good with getting umm.. I"m sorry... "getting" oh, that doesn't work either this is what I mean: Xbox is good at getting games from Sony right before they can patent it so they bascally go nuts when they have a better exclusive.

Sony, they just are good with making things from scratch, just minding their own business and selling things to Microsoft... basically, Xbox feeds off Sony, and Sony is just a company that wants all the money...

Uh..hello? You can't play all your favorite X-Box games on your PC. Halo 2 was a VERY big hit for XBL, and was an experience you couldn't get on your PC.

You can also download new maps, weapons, ect. for games on XBL. And also if your talking about listening to music on your X-Box, many people like to listen to they're favorite music while playing X-Box without having to trouble with CD Players, Ipods, ect.

It would cost hundreds of dollars more to buy a DVD and an X-Box to have both. Having a DVD Player in your X-Box saves money and is more convenient.

and i dont care if any of you THINK PS3 will be better cuz im getting X BOX 360 and i dont understand why people say x box doesnt have as many good games how bout they both have good games maybe playstation has a few more GREAT GAMES but i think they are equal idk just what i think game wise

speaking of controllers... who gives a flying f*** what the controller looks like. Dunno about you but i look at the tv screen when i play games, not at the controller. Second of all Xbox owns sony. Period. Took sony twice just to get a good system (which theres only 1 game that i actually like on it) Took xbox once. Turning on the xbox using the controller is totally kick-ass. again... period. From the pics i've seen of the graphics on the 360 i can officially say they own. But as some1 said earlier, who cares about the graphics? I mean its the gameplay that counts. (I still play link to the past for the gameplay, total ownage) Dunno bout ps3, but alot of 360's rpg's have facial expressions. (namingly elder scrolls) To me this isn't graphics, this is another way of saying the NPC is pissed off at you and will f*** you up at any moment, instead of the game saying "The NPC wants to kick your a**"
You can also save your games on a little memory disk to bring to a friends or to your dads house where your 2nd xbox 360 stays. Movies, music, games on one unit and on one screen. Saves space, is convienant and again, total ownage! It has a backlight on the controller so you can play even in the dark (Though i usually memorize the keys) You have a xbox live camera to put your face on your characters. (Imagine owning some1 in halo 3 and stabbing them repeatedly with the sword while Yelling "Take that B*t*h" and having them look up at your face! The ownage just doesn't stop!A Microphone is included so everyone in the room can chat (though having your parents yell "Pick up you shit or your grounded" in the background isn't a plus. A Marketplace to download new maps, characters, and hopefully games! You also can have a gamers profile so ppl can see who they got owned by and where to look for them (their home) You can put skins on your 360, spectate a game that your friend is playing, and talk to ppl across the globe through voice or video. You also have windows messenger to talk to ppl who are on their PC's while your on your xbox. Another plus is connecting your music device to your xbox to listen to the music. instead of DLing them to it.

Ok I'm done, more to com when they release further updates. This should shut up the ps2 pansies. (Good people, bad choices)

You just said exactly what others have been saying. Sony is a better company with a worse system. How can you keep up with being 3 year's technology behind? PS2 is a weaker system, and yet it can keep up in almost every aspect... Now, if Sony can keep up with a worse system, they can pwn with a better system. But, you're just giving money to Bill Gates whom will one day use his money to take over the world and will KILL YOU ALL! Cuz he's gonna find a way to clone himself, so he can never die!

Plus, I can find every little detail of PS3 that's better than Xbox 360 and use that and make up some crazy support and write a 10 line paragraph saying that PS3 is way better than Xbox 360 and make every detail sound like a big deal like Euro here. That should shut up the Microsoft pansies (jk)

i know why most of you are voting vor 360 its because of that over rated hunk of crap Halo OVERRATED thats ALL x box has going for it sure its GREAT game but sooo many people love it because its on the X-Box what do youthink would happen if it only came out on Ps2(would have to figure buton configurations or take some out) i would laugh my ass off soo much its a fun game but what do most of you do on it Multi player.... (well no really?) X-box also gets better internet(huh wonder why *Oni-Sei cough MICROSOFT)

Ps3 is going to have a lot of good things but no doubt 360 will beat it because right off the line Halo 3 will come out

and maby for Ps3 something like FF 12 or 13(12 might be on ps2!!) or Red Faction III which would be OWN!!!! right now sony is working on PSP games so thats kinda lame they might add/ take out somethings from the PS3 (noes!)

i dont think sony copyed the color look at PS1 it was gray and close to silver so maby X box copyed them!!!!1!!11!!!!!

also theres a mag i saw that had like the prototypes of diffrent skins and such (diffreent controlers)

I still prefer an external solution to memory, what if I want to show my friends a saved game, I have to bring my entire console?

I wouldn't have to copy paste all that (which by the way is from Sonys' and Microsofts' website respectively) if people would actually take the time to read and compare them instead of going "OMG IT PWNZORZ UR CONSOLES @$$" because it's the one they have the mindset for.

Meh, the color thing ... no one copied no one. It's just how they did it. Grey was probably used to save money because it was seen a lot back then.

who knows they probably will sell memory cards (lets hope the games give you a choice where to save like a computer with CD Floppy A and ect.

I said I don't know because they are both good. Personaly, I don't care about graphics at all unless it effects the gameplay. As long as they are not stick figures, you won't find me complaining. Xbox has the Halo series, but PS has been around for a long time, so they get more games. Personaly, I would like to buy both, but my parents never let me get a new game system, so I probalby won't get either.

I dont like Halo very much... Its not overrated... Just over played... If you havent noticed Tons of really little kids like 8 years old r playing it...

I like Xbox a lot better, the design is good, and has an easy controller, graphics tend to be a lot better. I expect the same for Xbox 360.

Coding? What the hell are you talking about now. Playstation runs off a Linux engine that they configured for their system. They don't use any hardware made by Microsoft. And they even make a lot of their hardware (processor, etc). Game companies wouldn't use any code made by microsoft because that would only make it harder to program for the playstation.

The reason gaming companies prefer playstation is because it's easier for them to make a good game on it, they have more freedom. Just like the reason some games are made for some systems, some for others, and some for all. When you go about making a game it's not the same for every console, you have to change a lot of code/graphics/models to make sure they work fine on the console you're designing it for.

wanna talk about overrated? Try FF, more then 10 games about the same shit but different places.

Every game is completely different from the previous. The only similarities would be the battle systems and some naming conventions.

FF 11 is a new concept which is a MMO...
But i do agree that the others are a little Overrated...

I think PS3 is making a more powerful system to have power... BUT...
Xbox is playing it smart and not Overpowering the system which would cost
more and bring up the price for the system... I think they are puting in just
the right ammount that they need...

FF11 is not a new concept, MMORPG's have been around long before FF11.

The PSP retails at $250 with a movie included. If you see it being sold for $400 you are getting ripped off big time.

There are no final 360 or PS3 prices out yet. The PS3 is set to retail at $465 right now and Playstation usually includes a game, controller, and other peripherals. Xbox 360 is estimated to retail at about the same price if they have the same kind of package.

Overpowered? There is no such thing when it comes to gaming. If anything more people will stray from the next generation of Xbox because they have more freedom of making huge/expansive games on the Playstation.
