Apparently they don't have a reason to be pissed off right now.

Yes they do. Just maybe not one which you guys would think is valid.

They don't have any valid reason to be pissed off. Look this debate already ended with the release thread. Don't continue with it.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Ultimo on 2005-05-23 at 15:39:23
Yes, the debate is over since Chu's opinion on the matter are more obviously accepted and more valid then anyone else's. We should all stop posting and bow down before the power of Chu's intelligence.

Yes you should, you should also consider expanding on your intelligence since it's apparent from almost every one of your posts I've read that you really lack it.

Since I love the fact that people think I'm dumb, it's great.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by chuiu on 2005-05-23 at 16:16:29
Yup, and since you're not making the program nor running this site you have no control over whether or not the program will be able to view triggers of all maps or if the program is hosted/advertised here.

All your map are belong to blizzard, gg. You have NO rights, get over it. Trying to stop people from opening up your map is like trying to stop illegal music downloads.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Ultimo on 2005-05-23 at 17:23:58
People still try to stop them, that's the thing. You can't just give up and say "oh well, we can't stop them." If no one stood up to Hitler, we would of been screwed. tongue.gif

Look, the "passwords" argument is bullshit, and this can't view "anything".

Oh yea, MindArchon, all you need is to view terrain, and a save feature for a pretty damn good unprotector.

I have no idea how I would go about viewing terrain. I have literally no experience in graphically showing stuff.

Well, one person up for testing.

The only reaon I would protect my maps is to prevent cheaters finding loop holes. But, if I do finish my RPG I am going to leave it unprotected. It is not going to be a B.Net map... It is 1 player... So, GG Protection! bleh.gif

Alright guys, the debate ended long ago.

With the trigger viewer, people had the ability to find map passwords or whatever in your map, so what people said.

Now, lets count how many times its been reported or said that this actually happened and screwed up your map. Ready?

ZERO.

You bring up the same arguement, it seems to not be messing up peoples maps, people like it, its a great tool, done.

I really don't want these stupid debates to come up everytime Mindarchon works on this program. I will support this program, because it has absolutely no save function whatsoever. Your maps? Intact. If someone views your map using this, it'll be no different from unprotecting. You'll never know, except in this case, they cant change anything.

Mindarchon has no intention of making a save option. If he ever did, I would not allow it to go on this website. He is not determined to destroy your maps, hes determined to make map making more like open source, but just without the editing part due to the fact that Starcraft tends to span a less mature audience that small weinerless boys like to steal credit for what isn't theres, because they need to have some sort of fame because their life is pathatic and loney.

Only map makers really understand how to use this program.

Thats it. GG. No more debates. It ended a long time ago.

Lol, weinerless boys. I love the way you deride ppl biggrin.gif

But just cuz the debated ended long ago doesn't mean it wont start back up wink.gif
Just like a dormant volcano; just cuz it hadn't erupted for along time doesn't mean it's dead happy.gif

My point is why care about protecting your maps, if you want to go ahead, but don't complain about this map viewer, just keep trying to invent new ways to protect your maps, if they can unprotect oh well not problem.

Yes you are Hitler, we must rise up against all map protectors and stand up to them! Go map unprotection!

Wow... This is getting sad. Let's all look up at Yoshi's post and have all this shit just stop. The Trigger Viewer is here to stay. End of story.

We know it's here to stay. But this motivates protection to be better.
