Will this new version let you select tiles, the "select from master" option is very useful for me when making a terrain piece. Really, no one even spoke about my problems with it beyond "Oh you have an old version." Last time I checked, when there was a new version, there was a news post, and I haven't seen one.

I dont know what you mean, selecting tiles from the master tileset has been possible for ages, and just because I am posting a screenshot of a newer version does not mean it is released

I sent him TC because it had many bugs with SCMDraft2 tongue.gif

(He fixed them though)

He's demonstrating copy paste. Which works great, by the way.

SI, so SCMDraft 2 can let me click on a tile already placed, and select it from the master tileset? I've yet to read how to do that.

You said "Select from master", which I assumed was select from the tileset palette. If you meant select from map say so. And in the unreleased version you can do that using ctrl click/

Because I love SCMDraft 2 so much and don't want to switch to another editor, I was wondering whether there was a way to do Triggers of god with TrigEdit?

Yeah I only used Scm Draft 2 and SCXE, they're the only ones i need to make maps smile.gif

p.s. SCM DRAFT 2 > SF tongue.gif

As of now, the only reason I still use SF is for 2-3 things.

1. Creating Brushes
2. Auto-Complete for Triggers
3. Unit Array

I use SCMDraft for practically everything else.

Question for SI though. Are you planning on making an auto-complete for TrigEdit? If so, I'll make the switch permanentley...

Ha... the next version will have #1 and #3 solved.

SI isn't in charge of TrigEdit, DW is. TrigEdit will be worked on after the Mac version of SCMD2 will be released. So... the answer is "no" (for the next version), unless SI suddenly decides to work on TrigEdit.

Personally I've never found much use for #3. By the time I learned how to use it, I realized how I could of done it before anyway. It's slightly confusing to use.

I'm really looking forward to #1. I've been bugging SI since the beginning of time about it.

And #2 I don't care, because I use the Xtra editor for triggers still whenever possible.

the copy / paste code was required for brushes which are next. Autocomplete will come in the trigedit rewrite which is coming kinda soon (I dont wanna say when its planned cause it may be delayed).
I am not planning on doing unit arrays atm tho.
