The ones thatproduce wealth for your party and themselves, yeah, the really important people who make up a small percent of the population and let you drive your fast cars and have your fancy cars will the ice caps melt, the oil supplies slowly creep towards nonexistence, and the budget racks up to new highs. The most well-off people in the country (business owners, general entrepeneurs) got to where they are because of hard work and determination. They aren't lazy slobs who can't wait until Friday after work; they give everything extra effort, and try their best to beter themselves.

People who never move up are in their position not because working hard, but because of the lack thereof.

Five of the top ten richest Americans got their wealth by inheritance. Honestly, it doesn't matter how much "hard work" they do, how can someone from a family without enough money for food ever get an education or a decent job? Most don't, so we attempt to support them.

Correct. Someone is able to disagree on matters other than economics and not be a socialist; for example, I hate zerg, but those who like zerg are in not socialist because of it.

And the rich don't deserve all of the money they have. A lot of it is from lieing, cheating, and overall screwing other people over. "Millions"? Source? What percentage of dirt poor people do you think actually become rich. If I step down to a city 20 miles from where I live, the graduation rate is 48%. Students are three times more likely to go to prison than to college. 20% of teenage girls become pregnant.

Perhaps 1 kid in 2 millions of these poor people can strike it rich. There are more rich people that squander their money and are dumped into poverty than there are poor people who become rich.

The students can't afford college tuition. Their public schools are in terrible disrepair, lacking good teachers and textbooks. They can't learn. A very lucky few make it to college on sports scholarships.

The rest choose a easier way of getting money -- crime.

Again, it seems you think poor people are unworthy of living.

EDIT: Source for me? Look at the Forbes 400 richest in america. 5 of the top 10 are Walton descendants who inherited the WalMart fortune.

Most business people really don't cheat. The ones that do rarely get far, and when they do the intense scrutiny on them makes them crash and burn.

Most people (and businesses) become succesful for offering what the consumer wants. Look at Wal-Mart; that's a prime example.

You just don't like that fact that the people you see who have more money than you reall deserve it. You don't want to blame yourself.

I'm not really going to respond to your other comments because they are not at all threatening to the correct side (they are written for the sake of being written). One thing I should note is that you are being a bit dishonest by not showing the break in one of your quotes of mine where I was responding to your comment (the forum removes quoted quotes, and you don't show that that's what happened, which looks strange).

I hate people who have more money than me because they are snobby :censored:es. When I become rich, i'm actaully going to teach my kids to have some integrity and i'm going to give to charity every day that I can because I DON'T NEED large amounts of money.

Robbing you of your money? Assuming you're upper class, it's more like you've been robbing everyone else. You're hoarding it all for yourself. I would have almost no problem what so ever with the upper class, if they were taxed like everyone else, and/or donated a lot their money to charities.
