Well Kellimus and I had a rather interestinging debate with Swap in Op SeN today. After much bickering he decided that we were both deomcrats and therefore we were communists.

His support for that? Democrats = Anti-religion.

That in my eye's is total bull. I'm not against religion at all. I just don't see it as a necessary aspect of life. I chose to avoid it. I'm sure that I can speak for alot of democrats when I say, "If you wanna practice your religion, go a-:censored:ing-head, itt's none of my concern, I won't hate on you for it.

He connects communism which is "There is no God" to democracy which is, "Yeah if think that there's a God, then that's all fine and good, it's your belief."

In communism, "There is no God" is enforced heavily.

I just wanted to know what you think about the Democrats = Communists arguement he had. Democrats do share some beliefs with communism like the people should be running the government (which isn't happening because we're a republic) isntead of politicians who represent us, but we don't go as far as communists in our beliefs.

Just wanted to know if you guys think democrats are communists too.

whoa, hold up first: Democrat and Communist are both left wing, but they are not the same.

Not all democrats are against religon; most of my friends have religon, just not christianity, and all but one or two are democrats.

Swap is Swap!?!? Are you kidding me, he's a brilliant old school fellow much like myself, he's one of the smarter people in this community, and I agree with him to an extent.

Yeah, he called me a Communist because I am Democrat. And I don't like how he supports The Patriot Act. He spat in my face when I said it took our freedoms away. He also called me an idiot for calling this "Democracy" a Non-True Democracy because there is a Republic involved (Which in a True Democracy, like the Greeks, it is for the people, by the people, not representation by an elected official in a Senate or House) He also spat in my face when I pointed out the obvious: Democrats are For the people, by the people when Republicans are *uck the poor, save the Rich.



No offence to you Wes, but by the way he just ignored me and Shadow when we pointed out flaws in the way our government is ran today, doesn't show how "Brilliant" he is...

Maybe if he didn't spit in mine and Shadow's faces and actually opened up his mind to take into consideration that we were right, I would call him "Brilliant". But by how much ignorance he showed towards us "Commies" I wouldn't call him "Brilliant"

And Democrates DO NOT have the same views as Commies. Commies believe that the country should be completely ran by the government itself (Hmm.... Sounds like Republicans to me...) and they want to get into everyones business (Just like most of the Federal Laws of today)

I'm not saying Republicans are total evil because sometimes, they have a good idea or two. I'm just saying that MOST Republicans are morons who don't realize that by giving tax breaks to the rich will make the poor and middle class slip even further into poverty.

For example, Bush's "Tax Cut". All you Republicans out there I want you to tell me, did it help YOU at all? Did it make YOUR taxes go down? Or did they make your taxes go UP?

Anyways, back on topic. I just don't understand why everyone thinks Democrats are "idiots". Is it because they actually want to help this country out and make it good for everyone, instead of just helping out the rich people?

If we could, I would like to discuss this, too. But if a mod doesn't think it belongs here, i'll make a thread for it.

Exactly, that's probably one reason swap said this. Knowing how one-sided SEN is when it comes to democrat vs. republican, he would make a great statement like he did. He probably won't come on here though, considering it'd be him against everyone, when he knows that his comments are not anymore stupid than some of the idiots that think they know what they're talking about.

Democrats are for the poor and middle class (Me and you) and want to help everyone out.

Republicans don't care about poor people, only rich, and want to help the big corperations benifit and only care about themselves.

Whoa, never really thought of it that way, but since you put it like that, I assume it's true. That's exactly how I am by the way.

Republicans - focus really on the countries' foreign affairs and business
Democrats - focus really on the people of our country

Yes I totally agree. It just goes to show that like what Kellimus said, Republicans care about themselves and money. They help people with assloads of money, get MORE money. They have no consideration of the people who actually make this country function - The middle and poor classes.

Leftists have no care for the best people: those who produce wealth.
