I think he meant the movie as a whole. Yes, it will be quite difficult to pull off. Probably not impossible, but difficult. On another note, you might want to consider a live action movie, with props and all. Especially with scenes that dn't need futuristic devices and stuff. You can always overlay 3D models and effects over the scenes themselves. However, you certainly would have a hard time casting for people like Jim Raynor and Kerrigan. If you can get a cast at all. Look around your community anyways. If you shoot it in Toronto/Mississaga, I bet me and Yoshi could come.

And find a sexy kerrigan.


Oh yea what about a name?

Kerrigan - red hair, green eyes (though contacts would help). Trying to find a person like that with decent acting abilities would be hard. Getting them to be apart of the cast would be even harder. Unless you already know somebody like that.

Name wise, I'd say it depends on which mission/part of campaign that you choose. Prop wise, it should be too hard to make some of the devices needed, and most things like guns would be made of painted wood pieces. Armour and stuff would be something like fiberglass or vacuum molded plastic.

Now, let's see if we can make a Protoss costume....

Its not that hard really, the only thing that is hard , is since were not hollywood is getting props, and coustumes, thats it really the rest is easy ive been doing this for a while now im good with all the editing, effects , ect, but its always good to get some help making models
This was always going to be live action, never said anything about all 3d just the zerg, ships, and SOME protoss

Hmm...all the Zerg will have to be in 3D (except for Kerrigan) and the Protoss will probably be in 3D as well since it would be hard to make the costume. Plus, the way their feet are shaped would be nearly impossible to do for a human. Unless you have access to a blue/green screen, which tem you can have the actors wear blue/green pants and overlay it digitally with real feet.

You'd have to make the props with scrap. There isn't really any other choice. And what setting would it be? Would you need a stage to be built?

Settings, i just go around film in the local woods here other woods there, some places i know, ect, props i have a lot , for guns im using airsoft, and yes i know all about blue screen, remember im more then an amuatuer, i know how everything in the movie industry works the protoss zelots , and dark templar i was planning on having an actor play, dark templar are cloaked anyway so all the actor needs is a cape and 2 "Blades" which can even be cardboard since theres an effect being overlaid, and then for the zelots I would have one actor in a coustume, and clone him over and over and over until i have an army of zealots I know zerg are 3d, why do you think i wanted you to help build models?

I need one so I can put my "Starcraft Widescreen Cinimatic DVD Special Limited Edition" into my computer and get "Exclusive director's commentary, Original Developed artwork and never before seen storyboards from Blizzard's cinematics team".

My DVD. Since I couldn't get a DVD Decoder I found a DVD to MPEG thingy.

Flaming X the movie is about the Starcraft campaigns and also before and after them. Yet some of those names were funny .

Your welcome on the funny names! Also, what is the point of making a movie about the campain? I mean, talk about something that needs a new idea! You know what, I know some people (AKA-Me) who can make some pretty interesting scripts! I mean, ask FireKame on my last story I showed her! Besides the fact that I killed everyone but the main character in the second chapter, it was really good!

Well, I'm running out of ideas, I hope you liked one of these! Still, why can't you just make it into little episodes for people to watch, and then sell shirts of favorite characters (Made up, and with no units, or you get sued!). Then, at the end of the season, sell the episodes on a DVD!

Anywayz since it is my movie i want the storyline to invlove the campgin such as specific names and referances but nothing more, i want a complete new storyline maby before maby after(probably not after, thats just turning into sc2 !) or during the campgin, such as a side story that somehow effects part of the main campagin we never heard about, that could be interesting
