That sounds like the best idea, unless you are using DTs for characters already.

Sorry, but they are in the process of making a game called FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus. It's a first person shooter/RPG that stars Vincent and takes place in the ruins of Midgar after FFVII ended. I hear that Cait Sith is in it also.

To start the boss battle you stand next to it with ALL party members. This is required for most major events in the story so characters don't get left behind. The chocobo farming won't be available until after you beat the Midgar boss. You can purchase the stable afterwards and catch a Chocobo on the world map.

Iamandragon, the Lunar Harp is there just keep trying. The location is randomly placed on a wandering SCV so it can be anywhere the SCV can go in that area.

Nope it's there, very simple, no formation required. As long as one of the mines are placed on the location it will detect the Lunar Harp.

Does the location move all the time?

No it's set once the trigger for it executes.

On Single PLayer You cant do random Battles

Thus preventing you from cheating.

Um..I didn't get it. I started out in Midgar, then I tried getting out. I tried walking around the shinra soldier but I got caught in battle and died because I hit 1/2 damage per swipe. Then I died, and I tried using Pheonix down but it didn't work. =/

There are 2 exits in Midgar. Phoenix downs only work when an active party member is in the battle area. Shinra Tank has high armor so try getting the Bolt Spell or umm... use cheats? Game's meant for 3-4 players so don't try to beat it by yourself unless you're using cheats.

We did a level 6 upgrade and got limit break before challenging it. We were both close to death in the end though.

Really, I beat it at with one other person at level 2 just with the bolt spell. And you can probably kill the thing easily with 2 Limit Breaks with 0 upgrades. If you're using the cure spell to keep yourself alive, that may be the problem right there. Cure's way too slow for boss battles, waste of time and MP, use potions.
