Variables are the main thing I am working on.

The coolest thing is if you could build a scripting language into SC, sorta like JASS.

Starcraft editor is a scripting language. If your talking about JASS editing in wc3 then your dumb. The entire trigger editor of wc3 is in JASS. the trig edit of wc3 is just a fancy GUI for it. Im pretty sure the whole wc3 game is programmed in jass.

I can see about adding comparisn between deathtype as trigger type, or if possible make it possible to index all sorts of dynamic counters into the comparisn function...

What I meant, Wheat, was more of an actual programming language than SC triggers are now, with abilities like vairables and all that other fun stuff, which I believe you can use in wc3.

In conditions and actions you should put or's. Like player brings unit to here or there or give any unit to current player owned by player 1 or player 2 at location 1 or location 2 ect. That would be cool.

Yeah, or in a condition could save a lot of triggers sometimes. Also would be cool having more AI scripts for abilities if possible.

I wish blizzard was more open-minded..
The staredit community can create another expansion that surpasses Brood War for goodness sakes..
Somone made invested terran buildings there..
SI can bring new triggers here..
And yah, a trigger scripting language would be cool, as long as its not 2 complicated.
HTML level would be nice smile.gif

The only problem with all this is that blizzard doesnt like people messing with their programs..

And ON topic, Creation of extra units (aldaris) using triggers, creation of any spell using triggers, More accurate AI script type of trigger action ('_____ belonging to player _____ casts spell/does action ______ at location ______' and '(_____ belonging to player _____ casts spell/does action ______ at location ______ to location ____')

Also, a cool trigger for rpg spell systems for rpg (action) Move all locations at location ______ ______(including or excluding) to location ______.
In other words, u can move many locations, keeping them in exact same position and enabeling really cool spell systems.

Easier randomization...
If i think of more ill post

Set/subtract/add the actual kills, not kill score.
so it would be possible to make perfect kill to cash in 1 simple trigger.

Silver not happening. They will sew the crap out of anybody who mods starcraft to make it stay alive longer. They want starcraft to die so more people buy new games(i.e. PR[or so i think]). They want money just like everybody else in this world. And that action do anything thing would take up like 400 strings and cant exactly be done in sc because of the way AI scripting works.

I know its not happening, but if Blizzard wanted it to, it could happen.
Its possible to change string limit, its just a file.
A few extra units wont change too much..
And im more talking about powering up Staredit officially and making Starcraft support it.
Stingray is good, but its still extremely limited.
Triggers cant make everything, if we can load images to use as animations in maps and keep it 2D, then starcraft would go up big time.
UMS maps are extremely limited as of now compared to what is possible.
Warcraft III editor is much more effective, and if u can make Staredit and Starcraft like Warcraft III and Waredit in 2d with a bit simpler options, dont tell me you wont do it.

I was speaking theoretically.

On a side note, i heard Blizzard wont be using triggers for anymore of their games..
How will they make effects? Anyone know?

And on topic, make a trigger condition that detects text.

1)That would be shut down by blizzard. On the other hand Starcraft for Warcraft 3 which will run on the warcraft 3 engine and probably wont be shut down; is making very good progress and will have all of that and more as its in 3D.

2)That can already be done with EUD:Conditions
