About myself:
I am 13 years old, and starting 8th grade. I will, if accpeted, be able to stay for a good few years. I have a very good knowledge of UMS, althouh not as extensive as gurus like Tuxedo-Templar. I enjoy Starcraft maps a lot, although I am a bit harsh when it comes to judging them. I am learning PHP and MySQL, and am dedicated to SEN. I don't believe I have warn on my record or enemity in the community (except for a few like ihatett). I am pretty intelligent and organized (when on the computer), plus I have an excellent grip on the english language. I am a very quick learner, and a good listener. I think I have the right temprament and tools for the job.

I have had, over time, a few ideas for the DLDB:

• Help from the melee forum on pro/standard map separtion.
• A "pending" list in the DLDB, of maps waiting to be approved.
• Removal of the featured maps section, or changing its name to "staff maps".
• Greater integration of the Review DB, the Recommend&Review forum, and the DLDB.

Why not me? I have very little experience, some may say. I won't argue. But I'd learn how to manage the DLDB in a few weeks, tops. With the guidance of the Staff, even less.

These reasons i have offered you, not through lies or exaggeration, for I realize the enormioty of the task I have so brazenly asked for. I know of the massive workload, the diligence required, etc. I would not try to secure this post if I was not up to the task. So, my fellows of SEN, I would have you pick me, not through liking or charm, nor through influence or bribe, but on the strength of my merits. I offer you my service, and await your response eagerly.

Meh, I may as well apply, I have more free time then ever recently, I visit every day.

I may be a quiet person on these forums, but I do love to read the posts and see what's going on. The anticipation of the maps coming out. I love to download and check things out, regardless of what it may be. Personally I think, since now that I'm in University, and with wireless running, I'll be able to keep up with whatever I need to do, and I'll be online most of the time, except for days like Tues, Thurs, and Fri. Wireless here goes about 48 Mbs per second.. Which is quite nice I think. I'm known for gamin only on snipers, and some or most UMS maps. Zone Control, or Zig Zag Tug of War. I usually test things out once and see how they are.

I'm 19 now, been playing SC for the past 2 - 3 years as my friends told me. I'm a trustable person, most people do understand me, and seem to believe what I say after I say somethin, because proof of it happens later.

Right now, my internet IS NOT up, but it will be by this weekend. My computer will be on most of the time except when I'm sleeping, because my roommate may not like it on, so it depends. I'll have stealthbot runnin, and my MSN/AIM.. I don't use yahoo, because I jus don't see a lot of people who use it.. Wow, this certainly is long. But I'm sure after all, quality > content (size). Hopefully I'll be considered and be a fair judge of all.

Yoshi_da_Sniper: Yeah, I'll make an acception for you. I guess I can use one mac guy to test all the mac stuff, but you cant touch maps that don't work for you or something. Let someone else approve/deny maps that appear as "corrupted" to you.

I visit the site everyday and look at what new things are up for download which isnt many. I have free time to do it. As well as checking all the maps/music/files being submitted to the DLDB. Anywoot peace.

I have like 70 GB's of free space to burn up so.. I also come home every day and go on the internet.. not always on SEN, but im on.

I think i read too many topics and dont post in them. Screwed does that also i heard =/

I dont have a personal life ATM, apart from friends and school, but neither of them take up more tha 6 hours on weekdays.

I dont lose my cool on the internet.. ive been in Serious discussion a few times.. with some right wing... 'people' and i managed to not lose it despite thier stupidly blind approach.

My English is very good, i can spell pretty much anything, except for the odd typo. if i take my time though, i dont get many typo's.

Ha, I'd love to be a DLDB keeper, im extremely active on sen, i have like 5 hours a day to check the stuff, and i could check like some hard bounds cuz im pretty good at them.

i've been here for awile i'm able to spend hours on the computer any time of the day. you have my msn.

I have been on staredit.net for a wile and i think i would be a good dldb keeper because im very active im on everyday sometimes more then 10 hours(weekends almost 24/7)and i can keep it up and running.

I love to play maps, aswell I have made many maps in the past, so I know what to look for in maps, I am well organized, and I usually am on the computer for 8-10 hours a day with all the free time in the world, I think I would be great for this position. I am not your average joe who thinks there a super genius when all they can do is turn on there computer and use the internet, I am highly experienced with technology of all sorts, I am your guy.

I'd like to be a downloads database keeper. I have plenty of time, I enjoy Starcraft, and I'd like things to run a little faster. I know that being DLDB keeper can be a big responsbility and time-consuming, but I wouldn't mind sparing an hour or so of my time everyday to keep it updated. I've been here quite a while, and mostly everyone knows me. I have coherent english and grammar skills, and I run windows. I won't mind helping someone who needs help. I don't have a mean temper really, and the only reason I could not be contacted for a couple of days is if I lost connection at home, so no need to worry. I have MSN, which I can be contacted through.

Not to nitpick or anything, but there is no apostrophe in "skills," and "and" should not be capitalized.


They wont let you work on the actual website, so there's no point in using that as a reason why they should pick you.

And since we're all nominating ourselves, there's no point in you telling others to nominate you. Unless, of course, I missed some new change to how this process works.

I have tons of free time for anything, since my site is going quite well. I might not have much to worry//work on it.
