Staredit Network

Followed a long chain of links beginng with CreepColony.

My friend told me "Go to staredit.net its like the best map making site on the web!!! All those really cool famous map makers are on it!!!" So i joined

Sen is only 2 years old, Don't have to lie.

I was a guest since like nov of 2003, downloading maps and sometimes skimming the beta forums...learned a lot of neat stuff. I finally signed up like june04'.

I was searching for melee replays one day and at TA.com, I saw a newspost about an admin of a site called staredit retiring or something and checked it out. I just stuck around since then.

Did anyone find this site through StarCraft.org?

I joined up here ages ago because I'm a mapper and I think this is the place for mappers. But I only got active once the modding section opened. Now I visit this place every day.

I didn't find it BECAUSE of starcraft.org, although I found your site first. I knew of SC.org awhile before SEN, it came up on google searches for "starcraft maps." I happened across SEN later on. I visited SEN regularly for months before signing up (so I could submit stuff), and didn't post for a couple more months. But here I am!

I was talking in SC and I asked someone a question about mapmaking they sent me here don't remember who it was though

I played SC when i was 7(ithink or 6) and i loved it. I wanted to make my own maps that has those effects like putting a something here will make something there. The problem is, i don't know what the hell are triggers.(that was when i was six or seven or something.) So i just made melee maps. 3 YEARS LATER... Im now 10 years old and it was summer on the Philippines. I got bored playing Warlords BAttlecry and Alien versus Predators 2 and some Emulators. I thought of a way to play satrcraft again. By Playing UMS Maps. For me Melee maps are boring. I conncected to the net and searched for starcraft maps(i did that because that's the way i search for emulators and roms). It showed Starcraft.Org. I also got bored of Starcraft.Org because it has a poor sorting system for maps. So I searched agian. and then i Found StarEdit Network. I was amazed by the maps of the site. I studied some of them and then i learned a bit to make UMS MAps. I wanted to give my opinion in forums and submit maps and that's why i joined SEN.

I been making UMS since like 6 years ago or more. (Wheneve it was I got SC...)

I was searching for something to do with starcaft (cannot remember what) and I found a page with a few things such as DeathKnights Glitch Guide...
Anways I found that. Then another Google search got me to a topic about some map I was making that someone else started to make (that map since became corrupted and I am too lazy to uncorrupt; besides, the other one is doing good.) So I just signed up to say I had already started that kind of map...

Then exploring a bit I found out this place ownz0rs you so I stayed.

I joined SEN because I use to go to the old site when Yoshi was known as TC (Technical Death)

So then som friend's from this site told me about it in the year 2003... I used to only post as a guest, So finally... In 2005 I decided to join.

Surprising, actually. I've never bothered to put in any meta tags or other little search engine helpers, as you can see by viewing the source. It would most likely help google and all categorize the site better.

I joined i think cause i heard about it..I got their a total newb, and look at me today! ( XD )

Came for the pie! And I think I joined because I just wanted to see some of the cool maps people were making. I also liked the amount of cool stuff there was for mapping. But, I mostly came for the pie!

I came here because it seemed better then other map making communities and it was easier to find stuff

I really didn't notice SEN until I started looking for tutorials on UMS. It was in Oct/Nov last year I think. I found that ginormous tutorial section and learned a lot from it. SEN stayed in my memory months later because of that.

i came here to download things in the DLDB
