If I shot and killed 3 police officers I would probably try to plead insanity and blame anything other than myself to hopefully lessen the penalty. When it come to facing life or death, people are quick to blame.

It doesnt matter if video games inspire people to kill. As long as the games arent like "Hey you, playing this game, kill your family... kill your family... kill your family..." Which it obviously isnt. Because after these games get sued, then violent movies would have to go! Come on.. anything can inspire to kill.

I dont get it, why do people use these games and stuff as reasons/excuses for why they did what they did? Telling the judge that you've been influenced by violent games does not guarantee you acquittal of the crime.

Yeah that could be made for a case as well. You could just say "Why don't we stop world wars? I hear about people dying in Iraq every day and I thought it'd be cool to try it out on my family members!!"
